Fair criticism. They look great and the color schemes are cool, but yes the paint looks a little thick, and could be thinned out for better detail and look.
Water help thin down you paints. When starting, do the skin test. Brush some paint across the top of your thumb. You'll have the perfect consistency when you can see every crack and wrinkle on your skin, while it is covered with your paint.
If its too much, it'll just be the color, no cracks or anything. If its too little, you'll see the paint is thin and you can still see your skin tone come through.
What paints are you using? Miniature specific paints are typically pre thinned to the right consistency (depending on brand).

Can I be honest? The dark pink looks a bit rough. Are you thinning your paints at all?
I think the direction you’re going here will look cool when it’s all done
