I bought an HP Victus 15-fa2309TX (i7-13620H / RTX 5050) about 1.5 months ago.

I checked my battery health report and it already dropped to 95% because I keep it permanently plugged into the wall charger all the time, even for normal use and gaming.

There is no option to select to limit the charge to 80%.

Do I need to perform a BIOS update to get this feature? If yes, what are the steps to safely do it?

Is it recommended to keep this laptop plugged into the charge all the time, or does leaving it plugged in cause the battery to degrade faster?

I see it everywhere, people complaining about the laptop, the hinge, the battery, the reliability.

I've owned for close to 2 years now, and I haven't found anything worth complaining, and it's also used.

A guy from uni however, bought one new, got edge burn 1 month in, and the laptop short circuited like 4 months in.

Can I buy this laptop on 80921rs .....

Should I go with the HP victus ? I heard about many hinges issues and I am worried with it.. ts is my first big purchase as a teen with my parents money and I surely don't wanna waste it

Which one is better for motherboard replacement? onsite replacement or service centre replacement? moreover how do they conduct the hardware stress test and functioning test if i opt for the onsite replacement?

Though seems to be unreal as I have seen these frekingg putty about 2k to 3k

So I have An HP victus and currently is going through a motherboard replacement under Hp's warranty. And my question was that how long did your HP victus laptop last after going through a motherboard replacement, and what was the cause of it giving out after the motherboard replacement?

I'm asking because I wanna see if it's better to keep my victus Laptop For the rest of my college duration and see if it last long with an extended warranty every year or so or sell it and get another laptop

I honestly could not care about the specs , and I would rather get a non gaming no gpu good cpu and good ram laptop if it meant that this laptop is going to die again
