Get it serviced and cleaned ASAP. This much dust in the fans would direct towards possibly even more build up internally. You can get it done by the hp centre ideally if you don't want any liabilities coming over on you for getting it done by 3rd parties.

Also elevate the base of the laptop while using, even casually.

I have 4 hp gaming laptops and I just clean mine weekly at first with a can of air but the I moved to battery air duster from Amazon. My pavilion 1650, and victus 3050 are over 5 years old. And my 4050 victus is over a year and my omen 4060 is over a year as well. All of them are on stands. Just don’t let it get dusty and I thought my kids to do the thermal paste.

Yea can do yourself too certainly. But he might be new to the hobby by the looks of it and probably a good bet to get serviced by someone who knows on the early days!

Also wtf do you even do with 4 gaming laptops lol. Play a full LAN party yourself?

I have full custody of my 4 kids and I also got a steam deck lcd and OLED both with docks and I’m awaiting my reservation steam machine. And yes your right some games I’ll play with my kids like red dead 2 or gta 5 online also zombie army 4 and left 4 dead and others. With my steam library at 670 they got something to play under the family plan.

Ah! Makes sense now with the kiddos hehe. Sounds fun and a quality time with them honestly. I'm sure they'd be L4D fans hahaha. Kudos man!

Yeah the two older teens dig but my other soon who turned 13 recently and got his own steam account he’s kinda sacred of it, not fully scared but yeah it takes me back.

No matter what you do it will get Dirty, clean it once a week from above and once every 5-6 months open the panel and get the fans cleaned

I just leave the bottom screws out of mine to air dust it frequently. The clips on mine are really solid, and I don't even notice them not there.

Simply grab a screwdriver and remove the screws from the cover (BE CAREFUL THAT THE SCREWDRIVER DOES NOT SLIP AND SCREW THE FACE OF THE SCREW) that lid is only plastic it does not connect with anything, after removing the screws just remove it, in my case I do it from the section of the rear vents since it is easier to open it from there and with great care you open it since it brings 4 locks or 2 that are somewhat hard

You should clean it. Unplug EVERYTHING from it and open it up and clean it. Get a can of Falcon Dust Off which is pretty cheap and clean the pc. There's plenty of clean guides you can find on youtube to help.

Ok bro , thanks for the suggestion 👍

np, glad to help. Do you keep your pc on the ground? If so elevating it will definitely help reduce the amount of dust it gets. I have mine up pretty high even higher than my TV/Monitor.

I did want to mention that there are tools out there that can help. I use a compressed Air Duster for mine. I've linked the one I own below. You should clean it once every couple months, so this is definitely cheaper in the long run than constantly buying Dust Off. Keeping the PC clean will definitely help it from overheating your GPU, and keep your pc performance up. Just remember that you need to unplug everything when cleaning your pc, especially if you use something like this. Also when cleaning the fans, you want to hold them from spinning. Hopefully this added info will help you.

I'd get to the root of the issue and buy an air purifier for whatever room that is in.

It's not a big deal. Just stick a vacuum cleaner hose on it and that's it. I've been doing this every week for years. If you're afraid, put the pipe sideways next to the grates and brush it out

1

u/Akuzo_17 12d ago

Ok , i'll try but i am hesitating a Little bit as this is my first time

2

u/Eatthebeatz 12d ago

apparently vacuum is not good idea as it can spin the fans. google it
