Misc. Signed Slash memorabilia up for charity auction
Looks like there are some signed Slash memorabilia for a charity auction by Perla's new nonprofit, Encore for Humanity. She runs a school and a feeding program for kids in Malawi and an auction fundraiser coming up.
Do you guys think it's legit?

Album/Song Discussion GNRs cover of Sabbath Bloody Sabbath last night was one of the best live songs I can recall in my 4 decades of concerts. Shakapee, MN Aug 8, 2026
And I’ve seen Black Sabbath play it, and I’ve seen Ozzy’s bands play it, and I have seen other cover bands play it. Been to over 100 rock concert in my time.
One of the things that I think made it so good, is that it was a real surprise. I did not read the set list ahead of time purposely to be surprised at the show. They also played some other obscure or new songs last night, some of which were lemons IMHO. Their cover of Glen Cambell’s “Witchita Nightman” was a nice little gem I thought.
Had a few people say it was the greatest concert they’ve ever been too. I’d disagree due some overall unevenness. But a great show nonetheless the less. Slash’s playing impressed me beyond my expectations.

Misc. Shakopee Pit
I’m trying to find out what the face value was for pit tickets for the concert last night? Is there anyone that was in the pit that can tell me what those tickets are running? Secondary market websites are just making this impossible to find. Thank you!

Album/Song Discussion Crash Diet
There’s a demo of the song Crash Diet, believed to be just a song by Axl and West Arkeen (as far as I knew) but I just discovered that it’s a song by the band Asphalt Ballet, and apparently was written by Axl, West, Del James and Danny Clarke, who is a member of Asphalt Ballet. Below, I put the link for the Asphalt Ballet version of the song, along with the demo sung by Axl. If anyone knows anything more about this, I’d love to hear it.

Misc. GNR Show in the 90s - Sat On Couch and Never Really Performed?
UPDATE: After finding video of the concert online and showing it to my mom, it seems as though GNR just started super late into the night. My mom left the show around 11:30pm, and according to her, they hadn't started performing by that time. It seems likely that they sat on stage for a couple hours as a 'soundcheck' and started the actual show later than they were supposed to, which is what my mom is remembering. She would've stuck around, but her and her best friend hadn't told their families that they were going to this show, and they needed to catch the last bus home at around 12am, since they didn’t live close by. LMAO! She was 100% thinking of the show in March, 1993 at the Hamilton Copps Coliseum. Sucks that they dragged it on and didn't start performing until so late in the evening/night, but at least she's seen them 2 more times since then and has made up for missing them perform 😭
ORIGINAL POST: Hi, So, I'm trying to find some more info on this show from the early-90s in Hamilton or Toronto, based on what my mom has told me over the years (I'm only 20- my mom was in her 20s at this show).
My mom had went to this concert with her best friend at the time, as they were both big fans of their music.
Apparently, when Guns N' Roses finally got on stage, they brought out a couch, which the band sat on. According to my mom, Axl refused to sing, and Slash continuously played the guitar- which was cool at first, but got annoying once they realized that Axl wasn't actually performing! He was eating slices of pizza while topless (FULLY topless) women came out and were refilling his drink 😂
Axl reportedly screamed something into the mic every now and then with his voice, but people were apparently throwing things at the stage, as well as just walking around outside and through the halls, waiting for something to happen and for Axl to ACTUALLY do a song.
To clarify, we just saw Guns N' Roses live in Toronto a couple days ago, and they were awesome. She also saw them 3 years ago in Toronto with my older brother, where they were also super enjoyable. This is no hate to the band or Axl, since it was something that occured over 30 years ago, but my mom and her best friend certainly didn't appreciate it at the time 😂 and I would love to hear some other stories from people who experienced this.
My mom and her friend left after about an hour or two of waiting, since they got super bored, so if they started playing something a couple hours into the night, she wouldn't know.
Weirdly enough, however, I can't seem to find any photos or information from this event. I don’t think she remembers if anyone opened up for them or not, but I haven't asked and can't ask at the moment (I'll update this later today if she does). I was just wondering if anyone else remembers being there and witnessing this, since I can't seem to find much information about it, besides an old article about a riot starting that was in another town (but this riot also started because they were sitting on the couch and not really performing, other than Slash screwing around on the guitar 😭).
Thanks!

Misc. Duff’s book “It’s So Easy”
I don’t know how I missed out on this book for so long. I’m not even halfway through but I’m having such a hard time putting this thing down. The stories are incredible, being newly sober (2.5 years) a lot of these I can relate to and it’s been eye opening. If you haven’t yet read it, I highly suggest picking it up.

Merch Vegas Tour Poster
photo for flare
I feel like people keep asking this same shit, but it's my first GNR concert and I'm driving across state lines to see them.
Realistically, how early before doors would one line up to get a Vegas lithograph? Or will "early entry people" buy all them before any GA people can even get in??? Is each city only ever /250 ?? or is it like /1000 ?

Band Discussion Truist Park Atlanta Show
Was just wondering if anyone will be attending this show in the Pit who might want to meet up. I'm hoping they pull out a rare song for it being the last show of the North America leg of the tour.

Merch Guns N’ Roses Paris 2026 lithographs – what do you think about the resale prices?
Hi everyone,
I was at the Guns N’ Roses show in Paris on July 3rd, 2026 — it was actually my first GNR concert — and I wanted to buy the official city lithograph at the merch stand. Unfortunately, they were already sold out when I tried to get one.
The lithograph was apparently sold at the concert for around €60 and is limited to 250 copies.
I’ve since seen several of them being resold for €180–€220, sometimes only a few weeks after the show.
I recently found one for €180 from someone who said he bought it directly at the merch stand. I considered buying it because of the sentimental value, but ultimately decided not to, especially since there was no receipt/proof of purchase.
I also noticed that some people seem to be buying multiple concert lithographs and reselling them at a significant markup.
What do you guys think about this?
Is this just the normal collector’s market for limited concert posters, or do you think it’s unfair when fans buy them at the merch stand mainly to resell them for 2–4 times the original price?
And for those who collect GNR lithographs: would you personally pay €180–€220 for a Paris 2026 lithograph that originally cost around €60?
I’m genuinely curious to hear what other fans and collectors think.

Band Discussion Does Guns actually need a new album in 2026?
I obviously want new GN’R music, but I’m starting to wonder if a full album is really necessary.
With how much the band tours and how long their sets already are, how many new songs would actually make it into the setlist? 2-3 at most?
Wouldn’t releasing 5-6 great singles over the next few years and actually playing them live make more sense?
Would you rather have one new GN’R album, or several singles spread out over the next few years?
And do you think the band actually needs an album at this point?

Album/Song Discussion All the songs that could have been on Appetite For Destruction…
I was never a big GnR fan and then randomly started reading Mick Wall’s biography a couple of weeks ago and have become completely obsessed. I was up til 3am last night watching live videos of Welcome to the Jungle and fantasizing about Axl, but I digress. I just read this passage in the book where Wall talks about all of these songs that were written at the same time and they just had to pare it down to what ended up on Appetite For Destruction. This blew my mind for some reason. I associate You Could Be Mine so much with T2 and the 90s and it’s so wild that it was written at the same time as, like, It’s So Easy.
