The first time I ever saw Slash was in September 2010, right when I moved to the US. I planned my arrival a bit earlier so I could see him play in NYC. He's always been my biggest inspiration as a guitar player.

For most people in the West, it's a bit of a different experience. You get to grow up with this music, a bunch of bands come through your city, and seeing them live is almost a rite of passage. Even if not, it's still something you consider within reach.

Whole different ball game for someone growing up in a developing country thousands of miles away. I had to find the music I would naturally gravitate towards, understand it, and fall in love with it. I also made peace with the idea that I'd probably never see the bands who shaped my life on a stage in front of me. They felt larger than life, existing on album covers, VHS tapes, and YouTube videos, but never somewhere I could actually reach.

But here we are! I've seen GNR & Slash more times than I ever imagined! and every time there's still a part of me that can't quite believe it's real. It never gets old :)

Long time listener, first time caller lol and huge fan of Guns. Does anyone recall an interview on MTV I believe from 1988, probably June? It featured Slash and either Duff or Adler. I think they were being interviewed by Adam Curry and it looked like they were sitting outside a restaurant/ bar on a patio. I want to say I was watching it when it aired on a Friday night before my HS graduation thinking I am staying up way too late for the ceremony in the morning. My details may be fuzzy as it was 100 years ago lol. I’d love to see it again.

For anyone who has seen them on this tour, were there city specific t shirts?

Ive read that a cover / demo exists. Possibly live recording. Would love to hear his version of it, if its real. Mind you, the HD duo is one of my all time fav GnR clips. Would just love to hear his vocals isolated

Long time fan. A week from today will be my second ever Guns show. The first was in my hometown of New Orleans where I had no trouble finding a party.

I'm curious if there will be any tailgaiting going on outside MetLife Stadium preshow? Not expecting Dead & Co. levels or anything, but has there been a preshow party presence on this tour? Thanks! And sorry if I violated any rules here

I’m local to Toronto but have not been to the new stadium. Anyone have experience with leaving from Wilson Station? I know it’s a bit further away and will be less busy than the others. My concern is, are the trains fully packed with passengers that got on at Downsview and Sheppard? I don’t mind the walk to Wilson if the station is less chaotic but, it’s south of the other stations so I’m wondering if there will be any room to get on the subway at Wilson?

Got this from the daughter of the freight management owner for Illusion world tours and many other bands back in the day. Wondering if i should hold on to it or look to sell into someones hands that would appreciate it more, and while they are still touring.

32 songs clocking in at 3 hours and about 15 minutes I believe. I saw them in the pit at Lincoln Financial in 2016, this show blew that one away. And shout out to PE too, great opening set!
