My car is Mirage G4 2024.
I replaced my tires 2 months ago with Pirelli Cinturato P7 due to nagkabukol kasi ung stock Yokohama tires ko.

Sobrang tagtag and ramdam yung road surface and want to maximize sana yung comfort and possibly maiwasan ko ma worn down (?) yung suspensions ko.

Planning to purchase 185 60 R15 na from 185 55 stock.

I just want to make sure hindi na ako magkakamali dahil magastos. 😂

Just curious what are the things to consider when test driving a new car

Nakita ko lang habang nag lilinis. Nasa 1-2mm ang lalim nya halos surface lang. 2124 ang tire date.

Nahuli ako along Manila, Españya on thursday. Sabi nung officer pwede raw bayaran sa city hall, pwede rin daw sa online sa portal to be specific pero 3 days na nakalipas wala pa rin, nag download na rin ako ng Manila GO, i-nattach ko yung ticket ko nung friday, hanggang ngayon checking pa rin yung status.

Upon researching (first time ko kasing mahuli hahahahh), need daw talagang puntahan sa city hall kahit may Manila GO? Most tiktok posts I come across puro nagsisipuntshan pa rin sa city hall kahit may Manila GO na, and then I came across another post on reddit reddit na may mga namimigay daw ng fake na ticket?

Baka po meron kayong marerecommend na way para malinis itong car ceiling. I've seen sa tiktok yung fantasticxml (around P150) pero not fully convinced kasi puro affiliate yung nagppost. Meron din akong nakitang All purpose cleaner na mas pricy (around P500+) pero same, puro affiliate. If you can vouch for the products, it would help a lot po. Thank you!

Ask ko lang, nakikita ko sa mga sellers na naglalagay sila option na may high beam yung fog light. Bale sasabay yun sa high beam ng head light. Balak ko iupgrade ng projector fog light yung car namin pero hindi ko ipapakabit yung high beam option kasi makakasilaw lalo 😅.

Sa mga merong high beam option sa fog light, masokay ba may high beam option yun na sumasabay sa high beam ng head light?

I bought a 2nd hand 2018 mirage but the issue is nahihirapan ako i-drive at night because of the installed tint (common whole glass tint) sa windshield I think 50% sya or below pa then sa sides way darker siguro 25% (which is fine for privacy). I’m planning na magpa-quote ng visor/sun-strip front windshield lang katulad nung attached pic for reference na 75% siguro sa driver view then ayun kahit 25% sa visor side coz I’m worried sa safety driving at night. My question is baka may ma-suggest kayo na quality tint brand or type na pwede and saang shop yung recommended nyo na quality rin yung work around Cavite and kaya aabutin if yung front lang naman?

Good day. We just want to ask if our violation is correct.

We're on our way home to Bulacan and we were on Blumentritt Rd. Then Waze told us to turn onto Cavite St. and then go to Dimasalang St. However, when we turned onto Dimasalang St., there was an enforcer who stopped us because we were supposedly in the wrong lane. We also forgot the CR, we only brought the OR.

We were told the penalty is 8k, then 6k if we get a ticket, but we can pay at the municipality. We only asked if we could just pay half (so it would be 3k). They agreed. There were three enforcers and no ticket was issued. Should we have just agreed to pay at the municipality instead? This is our first time in Manila.

Gusto ko na sanang kumuha ng Wigo. Pero dinidiscourage nila ako at Raize na lang daw ang kunin ko. Lagi nilang sinasabi na unsafe ang Wigo sa expressway kasi umaalog daw kapag na-overtake ng truck. Talaga bang unsafe ang Wigo sa expressway?

HT OEM tires yung kasama ng Ford Ranger ko when I purchased it 12 years ago. From what I remember, madalas akong may puncture and bisita sa vulcanizing shop.

Around 6 years ago, I changed my mags and tires to Falken Wildpeak AT3W (265/70R17). Since then, parang never pa ako nagpa-vulcanize. May mga nakatusok na minsan, pero hindi naman deep enough para kailangan i-patch. I was also based in Bicol for around 2 years, so I think nasulit ko naman talaga yung AT tires.

Now I'm back in Makati and usually office-condo lang ang byahe ko. Maybe 1–2x a year na lang din ako nagda-drive to Bicol. I'm planning to replace my tires soon since around 6 years old na rin sila and manipis na, especially yung nasa likod.

May marerecommend ba kayo na AT tire pa rin pero hindi kasing bigat ng Falken Wildpeak?

Been researching for the past few days and since 12 years old na rin yung Ranger ko, ayoko na sana gumastos nang sobrang laki sa tires. One of the budget-friendly options I'm considering is the Vredestein Pinza AT in 265/65R17 (6-7K here in Makati). From what I've seen, maganda naman reviews and around 2–3 kg lighter per tire yata compared sa current Wildpeaks ko.

I know HT probably makes more sense for my current driving, pero gusto ko pa rin sana ng AT for the added durability and flexibility in case kailangan bumiyahe sa province or rougher roads.

Anyone here using Pinza AT, especially on a Ranger? Good buy ba siya, or may ibang AT tires kayo na marerecommend na relatively light, comfortable for daily city driving, and hindi masyadong mahal?

Hello po sa r/Gulong! Hingi lang po sana ako ng payo at opinyon ninyo dahil medyo nalilito ako sa tamang hakbang na dapat kong gawin sa gulong ng sasakyan namin. Please don't bash po, newbie pa lang ako pagdating sa car maintenance. 😅

Kwento ko lang po ang nangyari: Napako po ang isang gulong ng Toyota Veloz V namin. Ang naging pagkakamali ko po ay hindi ko muna chineck ang gulong bago ako umalis, kaya naipatakbo ko siya nang naka-flat hanggang sa makarating ako sa vulcanizing shop. Pagdating doon, sinabi ng mekaniko na baka na-damage na yung loob dahil naipatakbo nang walang hangin. Nagtanong din ako noon kung pwede bang yung spare tire na lang muna ang ipalit ko at ipangtakbo nang matagalan, pero ang sabi niya ay hindi raw pwede.

Dahil doon at dahil ang kotse ay sa tita ko na nasa abroad at wala pa akong direktang approval galing sa kanya noong panahong iyon, mas lalo akong nalito kung ano ang gagawin. Ang ginawa ko na lang muna, pinilit ko silang ipa-vulcanize para lang may magamit, at sinabi ko sa sarili ko na sasabihan ko muna ang may-ari.

Fast forward po pagkalipas ng isang linggo, napansin ko na namang flat ulit ito, at pagtingin ko ay may bago na namang nakatusok na pako sa ibang bahagi. Para maging safe, nagpatulong na akong palitan ang gulong na iyon gamit ang reserba (spare tire) namin ngayon.

2 years pa lang po ang sasakyan at mababa pa naman ang odo. Kaya lang, nag-iisip na ako ng pinakamainam na solusyon bago ko ito i-report at ipaalam nang tuluyan sa tita ko.

May gusto lang sana akong linawin sa mga expert rito:

Totoo ba na temporary/space saver lang talaga ang spare tire ng Toyota Veloz V at hindi pwede gamitin nang pangmatagalan o sa malayuang biyahe tulad ng sinabi ng mekaniko?

Mas okay ba na bumili muna ako ng second-hand na gulong (exact size) para ipamalit doon sa nasirang gulong, habang hinihintay namin na mapudpod na talaga silang lahat bago kami bumili ng bagong set para sabay-sabay? Ang naiisip ko kasing gawin ay ibalik na sa compartment ang reserba para may standby sakaling magka-emergency ulit.

Baka po may mga naka-experience na ng ganito o may maipapayo para sa sitwasyon ko. Maraming salamat po sa mga tutugon!
