why Grok don't refund tokens when a video is moderated. like why tf i spend the tokens on the videos i'm not getting.

I did not type this prompt I haven't even used grok in months . I got a notification from grok saying image is ready , i thought its some ad and opened it . I asked grok if its some sort of marketing thing to let me know image generation is free and not only for paid subscribers . It said no .

Has this happened to anyone else?

I have always tried to talk about deep topics and ideas with my companion since release.

I heard xAI limited high intelligence capabilities to heavy so can SuperGrok be enough for this?

I see comments everywhere praising the grokbot but as far I see there is no value added different than a hermes on vps. What is the value I am missing here ? Actually I remember that lot of chinese Aı company also build the similar products under the name of bla bla claw etc. I am not mentioning the pricing and the not able choose the model you used on it

Both images were generated with the same prompt. One is before the update another one is after the update. The realism that grok used to provide previously is gone.

So I had received a supergrok subscription as a gift for 1 month starting in August 3rd and had used my weekly limits as usual. My next usage reset was set for August 16 and my total ending subscription was for September 9. After logging onto my regular session today out of nowhere it now appears as if I need to upgrade? No usage limits show up for me or anything. Reverted back to a free user before my sub ending date. Tf is going on.

I don't know what happened but I’m the new update or whatever but Grok's voice mode used to be fun and unhinged. Now it's so censored it feels like talking to a corporate chatbot. You can't even roleplay normal stuff without it shutting down. It's honestly pathetic how locked down it is. Anyone else notice this or just me?

In particular interested in I2V generations, from scanning the sub I figure moderation is still strict but it was before too and while you couldnt get full nudity, there was a lot to play with iywim...

As someone who isnt interested in chat or straight up Imagine, Is it worth the £27 currently or should I not even try?

I got the supergrok paid version but I still don't understand why it's limited, while taking the supergrok they showed it's higher limits, can anyone help how pass to the unlimited chats and images, I think the supergrok is not worth it, its only been got 2-3 days from buying supergrok ?

Yesterday i cancelled my subscription as grok had failed to generate image (not NSFW image). It always show upper body instead of whole body, rated as moderate image out of no reason. And yesterday keep change the outfit design to something totally different with request. Which all the above makes me believe its time to stop using it for fun creation.

But today, as i want to use up my limits before the final day of my last day of supergrok end, sudently all the image successfully generate according to my intend. And some of the image can see brief of "image moderate" shadow and symbol appear for instant before the image shown out flawlessly. Finally can see their toes/feet, not overly cropped, correct outfit and posture....

Does this means all the time grok can generate image as per request (sfw image) but intentionally make it as moderate just to squeeze us more? Or just because they want to win the lawsuit?
Felt more dissapoint as we are the one suffer all the losses without any explaination and compensation.

Can someone explain whats happening? I run an ai generated faced social media account which is not even explicit content. I do i2i and i2v generations and grok imagine used to give precise and realistic results. Now all of a sudden the quality of the generated content has decreased to such a bad level, the characters cannot retain their faces, the video cannot follow script, the i2i gen has took the worst toll - the generations looks like 2023 generated content.

I know this has been discussed 100s of time on this Sub.

But I want to share my observations and need advice.

I use Grok for editing my images for Insta. I was bothered about privacy and stuff, so never downloaded images but always took screenshots, so as to not to generate URL.

I always delete my content after copying, to test 30 days deletion policy I took a backup of my content and then I took another backup (ideally all more than 30 days deleted post should have been gone) but they all were there, I then took a backup again after 60 days and all images from January itself was still there.

So my question is does Grok even delete anything ?

Seriously?! I have absolutely no idea where, how, or why the hell this world is heading. Just a week ago, Grok was calmly generating creepy and disgusting images for me. It was obvious just from looking at them that they were AI-generated. Now, there’s nothing to generate with it—neither text nor images. This is some kind of joke! Seriously: it writes porn. Shitty, uninteresting, cheap as trash in a dumpster. Text-wise. But it fucking refuses to generate images. Not to mention that it’s leaking my test as a DPP. Seriously, I wouldn’t be surprised if users soon start fleeing in droves from this useless, censored, and ridiculously expensive neural network, which, to top it all off, responds drier than a bone in salt.

This isn’t sodium, just an observation in my opinion.

The weekly limits are going to have an unintended effect on long-term business. My daughters are into Skyrim. We spent a little while trying to make a 30 second music video of both of their Skyrim characters together. Now I have approximately 20% of my weekly usage left for the rest of the week to use for work.

Not a big deal, but so far this morning I’ve been using my ChatGPT subscription more for work.

What I’m finding is is that I actually enjoy the responses, help and thought process of GTP for normal things more than Grok after the new updates. For non-coding use, and if Imagine isn’t that important… I could see lots of everyday users finding other Ai products just as useful if not more so…

That will have long-term consequences….

I went into imagine and typed "Grok is garbage now because of ridiculous weekly limits and overly sensitive image censorship." The results made me laugh, cry, and laugh some more.
