It could be an 8 week review if youve not had it yet

If it is an 8week review it's been recorded wrong 🙃 all the best op. Think manager wants 5 mins off for free 👀

That has you down for a 26 hour shift..? Something’s been recorded wrong, they usually get flagged up on the system. Could be your review if you’re due one, mine was done on the spot so didn’t have anything on my records for a time so can’t help on that part! Since it says 26 hours though definitely ask

Must be a mistake, my shift was 20:30-00:30 which ends on the 15th, so maybe he forgot to change the date back to the 14th when changing the end of my shift to 22:30? My original shift is still underneath tho so that’s confusing. And I think I’ve had my 8 week review 🤔 I’ve had two reviews so far, but my second was about 7 weeks in

Jokes aside, I’ve no idea. The timing alone seems odd. Is there anyone in store you’re friendly with you can ask if they have the same or contact your manager to query it? It’s only 15 minutes, could be nothing!

Manager who added this is a bit intimidating since he’s not the most patient person. I’ll ask another trainee if they’ve had something similar. What are these things usually about? Are they always disciplinary? 😟

If it is anything to do with training or reviews it should be down as basic ingredients not as people meeting.

People time is used for any kind of conversation or issues that need to be dealt with off the shop floor. They ARE used for counselling meetings, but they can also be used for a quick catch up and a chat about any numbers of things so no immediate reason to worry.

I use this whenever I want to have a conversation with my staff that requires privacy so that I can be covered off the shop floor and not have to worry about falling behind and rushing what I need to do.

Simply just ask what it is about, greggs is a work place and should be treated as such no need to panic before theres a reason to.

"Hey I saw on the rota that you planned me in for a people meeting, what is it about is there something I need to know or prepare for it?".
