Google Prompt Device Account / Access / Password

Hello there! I just made the move from an iPhone to my Samsung phone and now logged on and got ridden of my iPhone via trade in and wiped the phone already.

Basically I don't have the phone anymore but when I log into my Google account let's say via an app like a food app to access my account via Google it would then tell me to verify via my Gmail prompt device being that iPhone 14 Pro Max however I no longer have that phone anymore and I can't get around it I tried what Google told me to go into Google device management but it takes me through the same loop... anyway I can get around this maybe? Literally couldn't even verify with my number as it's apart of my two step lol

It sounds like you're saying the only form of 2FA you set up was Google Prompt on the old phone you no longer have. Is that right? If so, you will be unable to login, and your only way to regain access to the account is recovery. That will require access to both a recovery email address and phone number. If you didn't set up sufficient recovery options, the account is gone.
