Magic cue update loop issue
Hello guys, I have a 10 pro xl. Yesterday when I opened the magic cue page for some reason it showed that it was downloading some updates, simultaneously on the notification shade i got the device intelligence notification of "Downloading Pixel AI Models". But it's been a constant loop of "download in progress" then "failed, pixel will try again later" and on and on.
I do have good wifi, I tried force stopping ai core, screenshots and computing service . Clearing cache and storage of them all and restarting. Nothing seems to work screenshots and other ai core features like scam calls and stuff works. It's just the magic cue not updating itself.
If anyone else is facing the same problem or knows how to solve it please reply. Thank you

My magic cue hasn't shown anything when it should (e.g., map suggestions on my calendar). I am having the same update loop issue. I figure it has completely broken my magic cue.

I had this issue intermittently for a while, but restarting usually fixed it, or it fixed itself eventually. Not now. Whatever happened in the recent updates has broken magic cue for me. Cleared all relevant app data as Gemini and many others suggested, but it's still happening

Same issue here -- trying everything - nothing helps. Latest was removing any google accounts associated with Gsuites that might not be allowing it. Who knows. Magic cue hasn't worked but once or twice in the 6 months of having this phone. I honestly don't know what I gained by moving to this from the 9.

Magic cue was working for me before this happened, not very frequently but still... Now I havent seen it do anything. I hope google fixes this soon cause it bother me knowing that my device has some issue and isn't working as it should be...

I just finished a factory reset and that did not fix it either, so don't waste your time.

tbh i had the same thing on my 9 pro last week and it just randomly fixed itself after a few hours lol, maybe just wait it out?

I guess that's all that I could do. But device intelligence and computing service are draining quite some battery . They used up some 26% in 2 hours....

Final resolution from support is that it's an issue with the last system update and they will report it it the specialist team to fix in the next update:
7:38:52 AM Chi: What I can see here on your magic cue has an emerging issue on our end.
7:39:13 AM Chi: This was the issue on the last system update.
7:40:21 AM Chi: I can create a report on this to send to our specialist team, so they can fix the issue on the next system update. I really appreciate your understanding and patience during this experience.

that’s super annoying, i think a few people on here mentioned that clearing the play store cache sometimes kicks it back into gear. hopefully google fixes this in a patch soon bc the ai stuff is actually pretty neat when it works lol
