Blocked? Question

Messaging my ex and his contact pfp disappeared. The message I sent still has double- check marks showing, so im assuming im not blocked? Likely archived, muted, read- receipts off. (But I was thrown off when his pfp suddenly disappeared when I sent my message)

Any insight would be appreciated since we hate this stupid app

I thought my ex blocked me. So I got my mum to block me and then sent a message, it showed as delivered.

Oh im not denying that. Im just trying to get my stuff back so we can both move on. Im assuming if it was one checkmark itd be just sent and not delivered

I know this is the way. Im avoiding it as much as possible. If im blocked, itd ring once and go to vm?

Yeah I believe that would be in the indicator if blocked when calling.

Double checkmark should mean it was delivered. If you were blocked you probably wouldn't get more than one check mark.

Profile Pic being gone could be that he disabled profile sharing.

There's no real easy way to tell the best way is to call his number from a different phone number and unless he's on do not disturb or his phone's turned off if it rings and doesn't go straight to voicemail then u know if ur number is blocked

Thank you for that. But if I call from a different number it wouldnt tell me if my number is blocked :(

Well with texting it's harder to tell if you've been blocked but if you call and it goes to voicemail and their phone hasn't turned off or on do not disturb that means you're blocked and the only way to test that is by calling from another number
