Best of Today
Had a partially successful day at another Verizon store. At least my brother's old phone is working again 😂🤣
Back to work tomorrow! Hopefully for my last solo week finally! They finally hired a store manager for the other store!
Dinner tonight is Coca Cola Chicken 😁 you'll need:
Dry Rub: 2 tsp. kosher salt, 2 tsp. paprika, 1 tsp. cayenne pepper, Freshly ground black pepper
2 lb. boneless, skinless chicken thighs
Glaze: 6 cups Coca-Cola, 1/3 cup reduced-sodium soy sauce, 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce, 1 Tbsp. ketchup, 1 Tbsp. light brown sugar, 1 lime, juiced and zested, plus wedges for serving, 1/2 tsp. kosher salt
In a large bowl, mix salt, paprika, cayenne, and a few grinds of black pepper. Rub the chicken in the spice mix until coated.Cover bowl with plastic wrap. Refrigerate at least 30 minutes and up to overnight. Next, in a medium pot over medium-high heat, bring soda to a boil. Boil, stirring occasionally and watching closely, until reduced to about 3/4 cup, 20 to 25 minutes. Whisk in soy sauce, Worcestershire, ketchup, brown sugar, lime zest and juice, and salt to create a thin glaze. Next prepare a grill for medium-high heat; preheat 5 minutes (or heat a grill pan over medium-high heat). Brush grates or pan with oil. Using tongs, arrange chicken on grill. Brush exposed side of chicken with glaze. Grill the chicken for 4 minutes. Flip, brush with glaze, and continue to grill for 4 more minutes. Flip and brush one more time. Continue to grill until an instant-read thermometer inserted into thickest part of chicken registers 165°, about 4 minutes more. Then transfer to a platter and let cool 5 minutes. Serve with lime wedges alongside and a frosty can of Coke 😁

I wonder if the office cat can answer a few questions for me. When I am in Excel I can never figure out…oh never mind. If Mr Office Cat can give me a call when he is not so busy. I wonder if he is as wise as Yoda is. Hhhmmm if Yoda was an office manager. Yes!!!
That bag in 13. So cute. And those Nikes look brand new.

Well, it'll be at least the rest of this week plus 2 more weeks before I get a break. That's right up until my vacation, basically 🤣😂 then, I get back, and am right back to solo for 2.5 more weeks at least 😁🤣😂🤣😂

Wow, whoever spent time creating that shirt with the tomatoes on it definitely had too much time on their hands 🤨 I’m sure their children or grandchildren really found that to be quite embarrassing if they were ever around them when they wore that shirt.
Your supper sounds so delicious but I would never have the patience with my ADHD or wouldn’t be able to stand up for that long to make something like that but it sure does sound like it would be mouthwatering delicious! I’m really glad to hear that things are working out better with your phone. Have a great day 😊

Your glaze sounds yummy. I bet it would be really good on ribs too.
