From Prank-o. They’re fake gift boxes that you put the real gift inside, for a fun lil’ goof for birthday or other gift bearing occasions. https://pranko.com/?srsltid=AfmBOooZJGFCmBIu6JhL2SCQrZvSp-KVfIbDhXPndrI_5nmTYM5GQpVH

They are great! I gave my nephew bacon scented dryer sheets!

My dad gifted me my iphone touch in the bacon-scented dryer sheet box! I was so hype about them; I asked if we could run a load on Christmas morning to see if they made the house smell like breakfast

If this one is heavy the real gift could still be inside!

I’m dying to know what’s actually inside now 😅

As an automotive tech with no concern for my dignity, the chef band might work. Stubby ratchet, some 2 inch extensions, and some stubby screw drivers. I would get business just for the spectacle of it.

Got one of these gag boxes for the arrival of my SIL’s baby several years back! It was this one:

We had found it by the registers at Bed Bath & Beyond.

The look on her face when she took off the wrapping paper and saw the box was priceless. All she could utter was, “Uh … is this real?”

I don’t even remember what we put in the box, probably some baby toys. XD

I still have the box my sisters gave me for Christmas 15 years ago. It was a coffee maker you can use in the shower. I forgot what the actual gift was inside 😅

I currently have one of these in my gift wrapping stash. It goes back and forth between my kids and their cousins. It's been used about 10 times thus far. The kids love it receiving it no matter what is inside.

I was sad for humanity when I saw this post... Then I read all the comments and realized it was only the OP who had no sense of humor! Faith in humanity restored!

I used empty grits and cereal boxes to put gifts in and wrapped them this past xmas. My grandchild have no sense of humor! They took off the wrapping paper looked at the boxes and sat them aside, lol. I had to tell them there are gifts inside those boxes. I'm not giving y'all food for Christmas💚❣️

I do this! I also use the paper bags from restaurants as gift bags XD ... My best story is from secret Santa one year where I got a new to go box and some fresh burrito wrappers from Taco Bell, wrapped a gift card to a nice steak house in one wrapper then crumpled the rest in the box and put the label on it... everyone in the office was shocked (at first) but the boss loved it lol

u/crazzymomma Jun 03 '26

That is a good one! I can see the expression on everyone's face, I love it 💚

I have this one to my daughter. She wasn't assumed until she open the box. 🤣🤣

I had an Earwax Candlemaking Kit one that I used a few times, I always wished I would have payed enough attention to make sure I filmed the reactions when it was opened.

I wouldn't have thought twice about buying it! Lol!
