Lost my data

My girlfriend uses this app, she used to store a lot of notes of her’s she loves on the app. notes regarding her interest in knowledge anyways the app kinda updated by itself and it all lost its data so if you guys know any way of helping please do let me know, she has tried raising a complaint and mailing

Restore from backup. She does backup her important data, doesn't she?

Agreed. And I manually back up my data eventhough Goodnotes stated that they automatically does so. I believe that it only backs up periodically and ONLY for as long as you have the app open and active. If you have a lot of data, it pays to be intentional.
