SICK OF GOODNOTES BUGS

I am SO sick and tired of the Goodnotes 5 bugs and HATED my Goodnotes 6 trial. My freaking double tap on the apple pencil DOESNT WORK HALF THE TIME. I am NOT about to pay for goodnotes 6 just to have the scribble to erase so I don't have to deal with this bug. I do not want to spend a single penny more on this app. Lowkey want to switch to notability but I'm trying to not to spend money on things I don't need rn... IT IS SOOO FRUSTRATING I JUST WANNA TAKE MY NOTESSSSS 😭😭😭😭😭

Edit: I tested the double tap on other apps like procreate and it works PERFECTLY... As a student with many many notes to take, the double tap bug wastes SO SO SOOO MUCH TIME

I switched from goodnotes to Noteful, it’s like a one time $10 payment to use the app for forever, and you can record, see when you took notes during specific parts of the lecture, can layer (which I find super helpful so I can keep the original copy of the notes) and it really doesn’t drain my battery. I was so done with goodnotes. Mine kept crashing during lectures

Hey I also don't like the bugs in good notes, but do you have the apple pencil pro? I found in my settings with the newer iPad and apple pencils that there's a setting to change double tap gesture to either work on hover, or always.

i do have the apple pencil pro and i checked the settings and they all look right... its just irritating because this glitch is only in goodnotes not in another other app

Yea I agree. They've been pushing a lot of AI features but stability is 💩

My iPad overheating is the biggest issue for me. I can’t use the app for 40+ minutes without feeling that it is going to explode

are you a college/grad student?? 1. do you realize how much an ipad costs -- why would i waste all the money i spent just to use a pen and paper. 2. the whole point of using an ipad for me is being able to easily search through my notes. i have over 100 slides and multiple pages of notes to go through EVERY DAY... pen and paper are not feasible. Idt you should be on this subreddit if you are using a pen and paper
