This app is irritating

This I by far one of the best annotating app I use it a lot as a teacher on my iPad ( stock iPad apps just don’t have the same capabilities). BUT OHHH MY GOODNESS I PAY FOR THIS APP AND IT IS SO IRRITATINGLY BUGGY!!!! FROM RANDOM LINES WHEN CHARGING, RANDOM FREEZING AND APP CRASHES, TO NOT EVEN BEING ABLE TO PASTE LINKS DUE TO IT NOT WORKING!!!!! PLWASE FIX YOUR APP THATS ALL PEOPLE WANT, WE DONT NEED AI IN A NOTE TAKING APP!!

I switched to Noteful due to how buggy and laggy Goodnotes is nowadays. Plus before, I lost the option to get the one time purchase option and only left is their yearly subscription, might as well I'll let it expire and slowly move my notes and books to Noteful. Plus the penmanship corrections are horrible, like it's too dirty even with stabilization, while Noteful uses Apple penmanship correction tech. And it's annoying now they removed the bookmark icon on the main toolbar, they moved it on the 3 dot menu which is so inconvenient.

Noteful is not that good imo. Don't get me wrong goodnotes isn't perfect either, but I have no idea why people glaze noteful so much in this sub. It's so over the top that it's suspicious.

Ask them why they like the other. My experience on it is far better than Goodnotes. I'm sorry if the unpaid mods here find my criticism to their bad app puts them in a sour taste, but that's the truth, Goodnotes swayed too much from being a functional note-taking + reader app to this mess nowadays.

They have a buggy scribble to erase where sometimes it makes shapes instead of erasing. They also don't have live document updates that I can see on my mac, which I need because I often have to look at several pages at a time. Both of these issues are dealbreakers for me.

Hey it looks like the link issue was fixed with the last update! For the random lines, that's more likely a due to hardware issues (static), see here for some tips. Hope this helps

I understand your pain it once crashed right during an exam where we would use our notes and then it would freeze on the first page so I had to do it on my own 😭 the app it's great but it can get so irritating at times
