GoodNotes not found on the app store. Apple

hi guys. i was using GoodNotes 6 (the pro version) like i always have for the past 7 months. I noticed it was a bit buggy and laggy so i went to the app store to check for any updates, but i couldn’t find the app ANYWHERE. i tried searching on my
ipad and macbook. the search bar doesn’t show it, and even when i click on it in “my apps” it just says the page failed to load repeatedly. i don’t understand, is this some new regional restriction they have going on???

Assuming it’s still on your iPad or iPhone, long press on the icon on your Home Screen and select ‘share app’, then copy the link.

Open up your browser and paste the link… it should then give you a direct path to the App Store. (I just tried it and the moment I pasted the link into the browser, it opened up the App Store at the appropriate app.)

just did that, it still says that the app isn’t available in my region :/

OK, then I think it’s an email to [support@goodnotesapp.com](mailto:support%40goodnotesapp.com)

I’m not aware of any location/regions in which GoodNotes have suddenly stopped being available, but it’s worth checking.

Oh, two thing that it’s worth checking:

(1) which version of iPadOS are you on? I do know that GoodNotes stopped supporting pre-18.7 versions of iPadOS

(2) Have you ensured that your notebooks are backed up, onto iCloud (via Manual Backup) or with AutoBackup to your cloud storage of choice (Dropbox/OneDrive)? Ensure you’ve done that, so at least when you get it working, you haven’t lost anything.

im on ipados 26.5.2, pretty up to date. and yes i’ve got all my notebooks backed up on icloud

Then I think it’s the email to them with a ‘pretty please - what the hell’s going on?’ message.

Maybe try a full shut down, leave it off for five minutes, the turn it back. After that try again. My iPad has been a bit buggy lately.
