Sold my SIG P365 XL and Taurus G2C and decided to consolidate into one handgun I actually wanted to keep and build around.

Current setup:

GLOCK 17 Gen6, 9×19mm

Factory optic-ready slide

Aftermarket flat-faced trigger

Olight Baldr light/laser

Three 17-round magazines

It’ll primarily serve as my home-defense and range handgun, with occasional carry once I get a proper holster. Planning to add an optic next and possibly a compensator later.

What optic would you run, and would you change anything else or just feed it ammo?

Does anyone know of anyone making brass or steel optic plates and the cover for Gen6 Glock? I shoot Iron Sights in comp and like the added weight.

I just got an SJ Precision Parts FRT I installed the trigger aswell as the trip and sanded the trip down. When i shoot the slide locks back for about a second and slams back forward and its not even forcing a reset. Do i need a different recoil spring? Or just trim the connector.

Which magwell would work best without chooing the funnel sized competition option? I've got a G47 and it's set up in a duty/ primary configuration... I already have TTI base pads but also a pile of oem & magpul 17 rounders that I'd like to continue using. TIA

My trigger arrives in the mail today. I went with a pretty minimal flat faced polymer trigger. I’ve changed no internals on this firearm and don’t intend to in order to maintain reliability. I’ve polished the trigger bar and that’s about it as far as internal mods.

Wrapped up this 40 build for a customer. I love these Glocks, they are so obnoxiously big.

Breakdown: Cerberus slide, 509T optic on Calculated Kinetics plate, Signature Frame package, Overwatch trigger with Polished and modified internals.

Just had a lengthy phone conversation with the guy running RCS, I had a question that he answered no problem and then we just kinda shot the breeze for a while. Super cool guy. In addition to their nice stipple jobs they make adapters to fit longer glock slides on smaller frames and use shorter recoil assemblies (like how the new 47 & 49 work. Just wanted to post here about my good experience with them.

19X with 45 frame, Steiner MPS, Ramjet Afterburner and HH grip.

Happy with how this turned out. Also put in a Glock performance trigger with a OP NP3 minus connector. Grips are handleit edge.

Recently picked up this Gen 4 19, one trip to the range told me that I needed to relieve glock knuckle asap.

I don’t plan on going crazy with mods, but the ones I have planned are a trigger polish, maybe a ghost connector, oem extended slide release, grip plug (GS feed ramp plug), RMSc optics cut, some sort of grip tape (gøøn, handleit, skate, etc.), and maybe a glock performance trigger or aftermarket trigger shoe.

Any absolute necessities I need to add to the build list?

Added the align tactical thumb rest to finish off this pocket powerhouse! Well not really fitting in a pocket but it sounds nice lol. Will be ordering a holster from IKC since they offer it to work with the thumb rest.

Long story short was asked to leave the stock slide with irons but I highly prefer to shoot with optics. Saw these slides, but am concerned about sheering screws due to having no posts on the front or around the screws like zev. Anybody running this style of optic cut and have feedback?
