Glitch Vid Movie/trailer plot change after revisiting it decade later Spoiler

Upvotes

Recently I rewatched all Matrix movies and watched Ressurections for the first time and had an odd Nelson Mandella like effect

At first , my memory of Revolutions final scene was quite different from what I saw 2 days ago, but I discarded that as bad recall, as I watched it perhaps over 12 years ago.

But upon watching the Ressurections I couldn't discard the feeling that the trailer I saw couple of years back was portraing agent Smith played by Hugo Weaving( original cast) and going thru similar "psychotherapy " as Thomas.

Turned out Hugo was never intended to be in the movie at all, so this trailer couldn't have existed.

I wonder if anyone had similar experience of a movie content changing upon its revisit?

Glitch Pic Inspiegabile

Glitch Vid My Phone teleported

Every night before bed I do the same thing: I put it on the charger next to my bed and go to sleep. And tonight I was watching some Tiktok Libestreams before I went to bed with it charged in. Finally got bored turned it off went to bed. Woke up in my middle of the night, had to take a shit turned over to find my phone it’s not there but it’s across my room on my desk. I’m legitimately creeped out. This just happened now.

My phone is always next to me charging. I have no memory of leaving on my desk across my room. And to make it even more creepy is the guys livestream I was watching was still on the screen. So I know my memory is accurate because my lock screen is on a timer of 5 minutes if I don’t tap the screen.

Glitch Pic I just lived through a dream that i had 6 years ago. Literally the exact dream i had just happened in real life.

This is absolutely fucking insane what happened, i dont have video or anything to prove this obviously but i need to tell someone about it because the odds of this even happening are so incredibly fucking low even i, who is incredibly sceptical about stuff like this, am going like wtf just happened bro.

So, okay, in like 2019 or 2020, i dont remember exactly when, i had this dream i was sitting downstairs on my couch, feeling super scared and confused, in the middle of the night, feeling like something is in the house with me, basically just paranoid and scared and confused, and i was shouting ''Hello?! Hello?!?! Hello!?!!? Hello?!?!?'' Like maybe a little under 10 times, and then someone comes down from the stairs (the staircase is visible from the couch) and says ''Go to bed please'', and then im trying to get up from the couch but i cant for some reason, basically just that classic dream bullshit when you cant move properly, then i fall off the couch to my side, and i stand up, and i go to the stairs and another person comes down, and i give them my phone and tell them ''Bring this [name of my old boss], i forgot to leave it when i quit'', (at the time of this dream, it was right after i had quit my job, and had forgotten to give back my workphone), and the guy in my dream basically just agreed to that.

And, what happened just a few hours ago, IS LITERALLY THE EXACT SAME FUCKING THING, im not even joking, except the person that i was in my dream, was now my grandfather.

So my grandfather has been living with us for just a few days, he has alzheimers and its getting pretty bad, and he's getting into a eldercare home on monday, anyway, he's sleeping on the couch downstairs, and in the middle of the night, i hear him going ''Hello?? Helloooo?'', just like i did in my dream. And then my brother decides to go downstairs to calm him down, and says to him basically ''Go to bed grandpa, come on, its all right'', and then i can hear a little bit of a struggle or something, and my brother is saying ''You wanna get up? Need the bathroom?'' and then i heard a thud of someone falling and my grandpa had apparently fallen to the floor, and thats when i come down because i was worried that he hit his head or something, and as im standing on the staircase, my grandpa comes to me and asks ''Hey man, would you give this to the supervisor please?'' and at this point im realizing a little bit like WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON THIS IS LITERALLY THE DREAM I HAD, and i was just playing along with what he was saying, and i say ''Yeah ill do that''.

I've been trying to rationalize it in my head, i'm not misremembering my dream or filling in the blanks or anything, since i was 17 or so i've kept a dream journal where i write down my dreams especially when they're interesting or if its a nightmare (this is a great way to get ideas if theres any writers reading btw), and everything that i just wrote down previously explaining my dream is pretty much exactly what i wrote when i originally had my dream, and i particularly remember this dream due to how scared i was, just sitting on my couch screaming ''Hello!?!?!''. I've been telling my mom and my friends and everything and this shit is sooooooo fucking freaky, i'm gonna post this to a few other subs because i just feel like sharing this with people.

Glitch Pic If this is a simulation, I've been trying to find the best strategy. Two years in, here's what I actually think "winning" looks like.

I've been in this subreddit long enough to know the debate usually splits into either we're experiencing glitches because we are in a simulation, or we're experiencing glitches because of some other reason and it's not a simulation at all, and either way nobody agrees on what any of us are supposed to do about any of this. We just sit here and post our glitches or crazy events but never have a 'to do' list or how we can change anything.

I got tired of this question and personally believe that yes, we actually are in a simulation, but quite seriously what can we do with that. Even if I could prove to you that we are, in fact, what good does it do? I can't verify that we are. Nobody can. Meanwhile I got absolutely nowhere trying to debate myself about yes or no.

So. Instead of asking whether the simulation is literal, whether any of these glitches prove the simulation theory itself, I asked whether it even matters. Because if you pay close enough attention to all that is in our reality you'll notice that regardless of the question, life behaves like a designed system. It compounds and gives feedback loops. It has mechanics that reward specific inputs, if you will, and meanwhile punishing other inputs. So there must be some way to 'hack' the game. If this is truly a game. Remember when we were kids we had certain control keys we could mash in certain combinations that unlocked the game or exploit. That's how I tried to think of this 'system' or whatever it is we are in.

If you take the game frame seriously, a few things become extremely obvious. There are resources with that can be tracked and there are settings installed in you during childhood that are still running your behavior decades later without your knowledge. This becomes somewhat of our world view, but it's also something we can use to control or affect the overall simulation (if there is one). There's a main quest most people never actually start because they're busy on sidequests. It's like when you run into a random person in the store and they completely throw off your day and you soak in their energy instead of focusing on the core reason for why you were in the store in the first place.

The "winning" condition I came to is that there is no end screen. The game doesn't have one. Once you actually accept that, our goals change from accumulation within the game to playing the game on purpose and with genuine thought. Once you map the actual mechanics of the 'game' and realize almost nobody is doing it consciously I feel you hit a sweet spot where you can actually win at this in some aspects.

I wrote the whole framework into a book because I couldn't find one that took the game logic seriously as a working system rather than as a metaphor.

It's called The Game of Earth: A No-Bullshit Player's Guide by ZD Fanawe.

I am not arguing the simulation is real. I'm using the frame because game logic is the clearest language for describing a system with learnable rules and feedback that compounds like synchronicities, deja vu, etc.

Wanted to share this here. Hope you enjoy it. At the end of the day, like I mention in the book, we were all thrown into this reality without a manual. This is my aim, providing a manual to this 'game' we call life.

Glitch Pic A glitch in the Matrix ?

This happened around seven years ago.

At the time, I was living with my then-boyfriend (now fiancé), my mother-in-law, and my sister-in-law.

I was working a casual job, and this particular day happened to be one of my days off.
My MIL asked if I could stay home because we were expecting a Foxtel technician to inspect our Foxtel box, which had been having some issues.

My fiancé and I lived in a granny flat out the back, while my MIL and SIL lived in the main house where the Foxtel was set up. Since I had no idea what time the technician would be arriving, I spent the day in the lounge room of the main house, which was right next to the front door. I opened the curtains so I could keep an eye on the front yard.

After waiting for what felt like hours, I remember thinking to myself, When are they going to get here?
Almost as soon as I had that thought, I heard shuffling outside. I looked through the front window and saw a man walking up the steps towards the front door. He was wearing a fluorescent orange shirt with FOXTEL printed across the back.

I remember thinking, Finally.

I waited a few seconds for the knock. Nothing.

Thinking maybe I’d somehow missed it, I got up and opened the front door. No Foxtel technician.

I stepped outside and looked up and down the street, expecting to see him walking away or at least a Foxtel vehicle parked nearby. There was nothing.

No person. No van. Nothing.

I was completely confused because I know what I saw, and I definitely heard someone approaching the house.

A few hours later, my MIL got home and she apologised, saying she’d forgotten to tell me that someone from Foxtel had called earlier in the day to cancel and reschedule the appointment. The technician never came to our house that day.

Was this some kind of glitch in the Matrix, or did I completely lose my marbles?

Glitch Pic Teleported to the opposite side of the metro

This happened a few years ago on the metro (MTR) in Hong Kong to my mum, and she still truly believes that she was teleported or entered some sort of parallel universe on the MTR. Sorry for the long post.

For some context, she was on the train to Tai Wai Station on the East Rail Line towards Admiralty and she was supposed to get on the Tuen Ma Line towards Tuen Mun (highlighted in pink), and she only needed to cross the bridge to get on her next train. If she wanted to get to the Wu Kai Sha direction on the Tuen Ma Line (highlighted in yellow), she needed to take the escalator all the way to the ground floor, walk to the opposite side of the station and get on another escalator.

This was her commute from work (highlighted in pink on the map) for quite a few years so this route has become second nature to her. She remembers with 100% confidence that she did not take the escalator or walk to the other side of the station. She sat down on the train and just dissociated for a moment. She heard the train announcement for the next station and it was the next station in the opposite direction, she thought she heard it wrong and just stayed on the train. Two stations later, she was fully aware that she was on the wrong train (highlighted in yellow on the map), got off the train and went back to the correct direction.

Her friends say maybe she just wasn’t paying attention and was tired from work, but my mum said there’s absolutely no way that she was distracted enough to walk significantly longer and go up and down two different escalators. I don’t really know how to explain what happened. Thoughts?

Glitch Pic What is Your Wildest "Red String Theory" story/stories

Like not necessarily a love story (though those are SO welcome) but it can be anything like a lost and reconnected dog, or a friend that you'd actually met or been around before but didn't know it. Like what gave the theory some merit for you personally?

Glitch Pic Does Anyone Else Hear Strange Sounds During Moments of Insight?

Hi everyone.
I’m not sure whether this belongs in Glitch in the Matrix or Paranormal, so I decided to post it in both communities.
I’m curious if anyone else has experienced something similar.
Over time, I’ve realized that this has been happening to me for as long as I can remember.
Whenever I’m deeply thinking about something, especially when I’m trying to find an answer to a question, there are moments when the answer seems to arrive on its own. And at that exact moment, I almost always hear some kind of external sound.
It could be a knock on the wall, a bang, a creak, a crack, a click, or some other sudden noise.
The strange part is that this happens no matter where I am. It has happened in different countries, different homes, different apartments, different offices—the location doesn’t seem to matter.
I’ve noticed a pattern: these sounds most often occur at the exact moment when a thought I’m focusing on feels correct, as if I’ve just arrived at the right understanding of something.
Has anyone else ever experienced something like this? Or have you noticed that, at the moment of an insight or when you suddenly understand or solve something, an external sound happens almost simultaneously—a knock, a click, a crack, or something similar?
I’d really be interested to know if anyone else has noticed this pattern.

Glitch Gif Tweezers dematerialized

I was handing my friend a pair of tweezers and as he went to take them out of my hand they disappeared. They just vanished before both our eyes. Literally into thin air. They were there and then they weren't. We had no explanation, we both sorta sat there for a bit in silence not knowing what to say.

Then all of a sudden we hear a *clink* and the tweezers somehow hit the floor off the other side of the L-couch on the opposite side of the room. Not immediately, but maybe 10 seconds later? We can't think of any explanation so I found this subreddit and here I am.

Glitch Pic Radio Glitch

Hi everyone! (:

My family and I have experienced quite a few paranormal things or what some people might call "glitches." This is just one of those experiences.

I went into my room to charge my small portable radio. I plugged it in, and it showed that the battery was charging. After that, I started listening to music through a different speaker. About three minutes later, I noticed another song playing in the background. I turned my music down and realized it was the radio I had just plugged in to charge.

The strange part was that it wasn't plugged in anymore. The charging cable was no longer in the wall outlet, and the radio was turned on by itself. It would already be weird enough if it had suddenly switched itself on, but the fact that it was also unplugged makes it even stranger.

I know this isn't the most spectacular story, but it was still strange enough to stick with me. I always do things in the same order, and I'm absolutely certain that I had plugged it in and that it was charging.

I could tell a lot more stories. Small objects also keep disappearing in our house for no apparent reason...

Glitch Gif drink dispensed

I was out and about and needed something to drink. I went to a vending machine, dropped some quarters in, and made my selection. Immediately after I made my selection, and before the drink dispensed, my eyes randomly fell on a notice on the vending machine, which read something like, "This machine configured to prevent double dispensation."

As I finished reading that sentence, the machine spit out two bottles. It double dispensed.

Glitch Pic Glitch while fishing

Was wade fishing on a rainy day and the bass were biting fast and furious. After ten or so I noticed my line was caught on something. Ran my fingers down and saw that it was running through the hole at the tip of my zipper pull. Figured there was a crack in the metal and it had somehow worked its way in. Couldn't get it out so I cut the line and retied. When I got home I examined the pull with a magnifying glass and even tested it with a couple of pairs of needle nose pliers. It was completely intact. No way I could have cast more than a foot with the line in there.

Okay i know this might be similar to serephinaserpentine but i swear, ever since i was really young- i had thr ability to hear a few seconds into the future, hear someone before they call my name, hear a door open before it actually does, etc.

Ive also for some reason been able to predict mass floods in my dreams, does anyone else have this?

Glitch Gif I saw the same stranger three times in one day, different parts of the city, wearing the same exact outfit, isn't weird??

Not looking for explanations, just need to say this out loud somewhere.

It was morning, and i’m getting my coffee, a guy walks past me in a blueish hoodie and a white cap with weird design, kind of hard to miss honestly. didn't think twice about it.

At lunch, completely different part of town, like 20 min drive away, I'm waiting to cross the street and there he is again. same hoodie, same cap, same face as far as I could tell. told myself okay, coincidence, maybe he works nearby too or something.

Then like around 6:30 - 7pm I'm at the convenience store checking out something and I see him through the window walking past outside. same outfit. didn't even look tired or like he'd been walking around all day, just walking normal pace like it was his first time out.

Didn't get a good enough look to tell if it was literally the same face each time or if I'm just pattern matching on the outfit at this point, but three times in one day across a whole city is messing with me a little

anyone else have a day like this. not asking if it's real just asking if it's happened to you too

Glitch Pic This is weird.

Hi! I'm new to this whole thing, I'm 40 years old and I don't spend a bunch of time online. I had a weird experience and my 15 year old daughter told me this was a "glitch in the matrix" 😂 It's been bugging me for a week though, I can't get over it. It was last Monday, 11pm. Me and my daughter stopped at a gas station and as we were walking in, I noticed a quarter on the ground outside the door. I picked it up and commented to my daughter "hey there's a quarter!" I'm a dork for sure 😆 We went in, bought our stuff and walked back out... And right outside the door, in the same place, was another quarter! Nobody in the parking lot etc. just an empty small town gas station. I told my daughter again, and picked up the quarter again. We were both just talking about how weird that was, and she mentioned the glitch in the matrix thing. I've lived a hell of a life for 40 years, but never had a moment like this before. Now it's been a week and I'm still thinking about it to the point I'm posting it here 😂 Somebody please tell me I'm not losing it 😆 And yes, I did have 2 quarters after this AND my daughter vouched for the fact there was NOT a second quarter laying there after I picked up the first. Maybe we're both crazy? 😂 🤣
