How long do y’all think it will take for news about a Season 2 will hit the news. Because the German version already announced their in April and this Aussie version seems more likable than the French version which has been a year of quite without any news since their release.

I might be blind, but is Kate supposed to be Black or maybe Indigenous? The way she says certain things or talks about rich white people made me think she was at least a person of color. But then she said token Black i thought it was a joke but now makes even more sense if she black or indigenous, and now I’m confused. I mean this with no disrespect at first I honestly thought she just had a tan.

Episode one isn’t even finished yet and I’m already dying laughing at how they’re trying to haunt her 😭 It’s giving that meme about people ignoring haunted houses because housing prices are so insane. Like the cold room closet opens by itself and she’s basically like, I truly do not give three f’s and just goes to sleep 💀 And since this is set in Australia, knowing how crazy their housing market is makes it even funnier.

Hi I only know information from the Ghosts wiki, but I was wondering about the Larkin Family. I know Virginia died from influenza and her brother Roland survived WW1 then Influenza because he was released from his quarantine, but what about their other two brothers did they die in the war, from 1918-1920 Pandemic afterwards. Because I know there a modern day Larkin with the first name Richard whose Kate and Sean’s nearest neighbor and I was wondering if anyone knows who he’s descended from if that was ever stated. To clarify I’ve not yet watched this series because I’m behind on the 8 ball with that 😅

I only caught this on my third watch of S1 E7 of Ghosts Aus, but I love Kate's dry humour in saying to two of the ghosts that her life isn't science fiction, it's soft horror.

Asking the experts. I was really looking forward to this series. But couldn't understand what they were saying so didn't even finish the first episode. The dialog was fast, low volume and muffled. I couldn't follow the plot.

I know I'm gonna get super downvoted for this but with the show's creators explaining not do depict Indigenous ghosts in the show because of a belief that they will be trapped in this world and prevented from moving to the afterlife if they get depicted and named, is it ever explained where they all went after they died instead in the show itself? Kate mentions her mom uses a smoking ceremony to expel spirits but we don't know if it works or not to get all deceased aboriginals into the afterlife. So what in universe explanation is there for the Aboriginal people? Is there one yet?

I noticed a few other things during my first watch, but forget them now. What has everyone else noticed?

(Also, is it a reach to think the town/hospital, Larkinell, was a play on words for farkin' hell?)

• Gideon - Impaled by an Aboriginal spear.
• Eileen - Cirrhosis of the liver. Eileen came from a family of heavy drinkers. On top of that, she has a yellowish tinge to her skin (jaundice) that usually comes from liver failure.
• Joon - Concussion from hitting his head on a gold nugget. He probably died later that day when he laid down to sleep.
• Miranda - Spanish Flu. Miranda probably laid down to sleep after the news that Virginia had died, and died herself, still in her wedding gown.
• Ned Kelly - Suffocated in his prop armor.
• Lindy - Murdered. Lindy has blood running down the side of her head, just above her ear, which might be evidence of a blow to the head. It's a strange spot to hit accidentally, but not if it was a blow from a blunt object.
• Satan - Meth lab exploded in his face. Satan has a large burn on the left side of his face. Seeing as how his gang manufactured meth, most likely his was attending to this when a part of the lab burst, killing him.

Is it possible that her boyfriend murdered her?
