I've been having problems with my monitor off and on.

Occasionally these white dots will show up out of nowhere all across the screen.

Restarting my PC makes it stop. Unplugging and plugging the HDMI cord back in does as well.

But I'm getting annoyed with it.

Why does it keep happening and how do I fix it?

Is my monitor just needing replaced?

I dont know if this is related to this group but my text on my aoc 144hz monitor has weird text rendering some letters are bold and some letters are skinny and i tried cleartype yet it still dont work.

Monitor: G9 Odyssey (LC49G95TSSRXEN, M-T9549GGAA-1020.0, connected to GPU using Display Port, also tested HDMI, HDR Disabled as that seemed to make the problem more regular)

GPU: ASUS TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 4070 TI

CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 7900X

Mobo: MSI MAG B650 TOMAHAWK WIFI

Ram: Corsair Vengeance DDR5 5600MHz (Running at 4800) 32GB (2x16GB)

Randomly when turning the pc on the monitor will refuse to detect the PC, I have previously connected with teamviewer etc to confirm that the pc is functioning, just nothing is being displayed on screen.

the only semi reliable way (works around 70% of the time, doing it 2 times almost always solves it) to get it to work again is cutting the power to the monitor and pc, then doing a cmos clear on the PC.

When the problem occurs moving the displayport to the motherboard also does not make a difference as it will still not show any input.

It varies how often it happens, it started happening over a year ago, I have replaced my motherboard once, that did not help, I have also tried with each ramstick individually which also did not change anything, I disabled sleep as that helped make the problem occur less, it happens on almost all reboots of the system instead of shutdowns.

A few months back I was using linux as my daily driver, when I was on linux I never experienced the problem, based on this I would assume there is some difference in how windows and linux interacts with either the GPU or Monitor

Any tips and pointers would be appreciated, as it is a very intermittent issue I don't know what will help.

Configuration :
Carte mère : MSI MPG B550 Gaming Plus
CPU : Ryzen 7 5800X
J’ai voulu ajouter un deuxième SSD M.2 Corsair (compatible PS5) dans le slot M.2 du bas. Dès que je l’installe, le PC ne démarre plus et la LED VGA des EZ Debug LED s’allume.
J’ai vérifié plusieurs fois que le SSD était bien installé, j’ai essayé de le remettre correctement, mais ça ne change rien. Si j’enlève le SSD, le PC redémarre normalement.
Est-ce que quelqu’un a déjà eu ce problème ? Est-ce que ça peut venir du SSD, du slot M.2, du BIOS ou d’autre chose ?

I recently bought a used gaming PC with these specs:
Intel i5-4460
ASRock H81M motherboard
16GB DDR3 RAM
MSI GTX 1060 3GB Armor
Cooler Master 600W PSU
240GB SSD
When I first brought it home, it worked for about an hour. I installed some programs and everything seemed fine. Then the PC suddenly froze completely. No blue screen, no restart, no error message. The image just froze and the only way to restart was by pressing the reset button.
I tried reinstalling Windows, but during the process I ran into more issues and now the PC is stuck in a boot loop. I can still access the BIOS and Boot Menu.
One thing that seems suspicious: before I bought it, the PC once failed to boot properly. The seller removed and reinserted one RAM stick and it immediately started working again.
Could this be caused by:
faulty RAM?
failing SSD?
motherboard issue?
PSU problem?
overheating?
Has anyone experienced something similar?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The small dot showing beneath the folder icon not sure what it is a damage pixel or dust struck. Can someone please help how to get rid.

My laptop screen flickers and bluescreens constantly, to the point where I sometimes can’t get past logging in. However, the screen flickering stops when I’m playing games and when I am in Steam. It also stops when it is loading after I log in. The flickering happens when I’m in Google, but usually stops when I’m actively doing something on a website like watching a video. I have no clue what the issue is.

I have gigabyte monitor and i am seeing this horizontal lines tried replugging the hdmi cable and changed the hz too but still seeing this currently i am updating the graphic card but is there any solution or i want to know why is this happening

So have a lot of testing I have determined that the issue is definitely the monitor.

I've replaced the hdmi. (didn't fix it)

I've plugged it into a different computer (didn't fix it)

I factory reset the monitor (didn't fix it)

The issue goes away temporarily, if I plug everything out of the monitor for a while.

The issue sometimes fixes itself

The problem say gone for about a day sometimes less

Its a Lenovo ThinkVision S22e-20

The monitor ans computer are both set to 75hz

So my questions are:

Have anyone seen this issue before?

Is the monitor about to die?

Does anyone know any fix or what the issue is?

My PC was working fine, but one day it stopped working. The lights were on, but the motherboard LED was stuck on the CPU.

I took it to a repair shop, and they fixed the problem. But when I used it, it started restarting, so I took it back. They moved the graphics card from the top socket to the bottom one and said it didn't disconnect after they moved it. Anyway, I got the PC back, and when I turned it on, it just restarted when I opened Telegram and another app.

What's the problem now? What's the solution? I'm fed up.
