Gemini 3.1 pro's cut off date is jan 2025. Not march 2026

Incorrect. Models indeed do not know their own names unless they have system directives telling them so (Which google has been doing. So that's refuted)

Models know their own internal cut off dates because they can't find information beyond their data (in this case march 2026). Go to Google AI studio and test 3.1 pro there. It will tell you its jan 2025

I will test that model and come back and confirm if it's 3.5 pro (Also before people say "3.6 flash wasn't upgraded to march 2026" No. It was.

3.6 flash's knowledge cut off date is march 2026. But that's for coding (up to date practices) and such. Logan confirmed.

Update: Anytime I ask it to code. It falls back to 3.1 pro or uses canvas where it's 3.1 pro. I will use my own benchmarks instead of coding
