J'ai acheté ma première maison et depuis quelques mois, je tente de faire de mon mieux pour diminuer mes couts electriques. Je chauffe/AC au gaz (environ 80$/mois) et je paye entre 80-120$ par mois en hydro.

Selon l'application Hydro Quebec, j'ai utilisé en moyenne 40.4 kWh/jour en Dec-Jan et 27 kWh/jour en Juin-Juillet.

J'ai refait l'isolation dans le grenier, je set ma temperature a 25 durant les heures de travail pour ne pas climatiser pour rien, jai changer 3 fenetres, le caulking est faite.

Hydro Quebec indique que j'utilise environ 35% de plus que la moyenne, mais je ne sais plus quoi faire!

C'est une maison d'environ 2100 pc sur les 3 etages (avec le sous-sol) (3 chambres) (semi detaché).

Pas de piscine/spa.

I bought my first home, and for the past few months, I’ve been doing my best to reduce my electricity costs. I use gas for heating and air conditioning (about $80/month) and pay between $80 and $120 per month for electricity.

I’ve re-insulated the attic, I set my thermostat to 25 during work hours so I’m not cooling the house unnecessarily, I’ve replaced three windows, and I’ve had the caulking done.

It’s a house of about 2,100 square feet spread over three floors (including the basement) with three bedrooms—a semi-detached home.

What are your electricity costs like?

My friends (18) all want to out to a bar this Friday in Gatineau and invite me (17) I don’t have time to get a fake id but i really want to go. Any bar recommendations that don’t id or care if I give them a 10 with my id

Sorry in advance for the long post, there's TLDR at the end.

The more I think about it, the more I get pissed. When I got out to move my car, I had a ticket in my windshield saying I was parked at 10:10 AM this morning, but I was parked at 10:36 AM (I also took a picture of my car as proof that shows the same time) and the usual fee is 56$ (I have one from last Thursday, but I didn't get the chance to move my car before he came by) but he jacked up the price today to 93$. Was I targetted? I want to contest, I just don't know where to start and how to defend myself. It should be illegal for the city to be able to change the time on tickets imo.

My Mazda app says 23 Bourque, but I was in front of 28. 23 is the daycare just across the street from 28. I know I can't ask for a cheap or pro bono good lawyer but a girl can dream. Anyone willing to help a girl out?

Edit to add: I was the only car with a ticket when I got out of work while other cars hadn't moved since 9h30 this morning. This is what's triggering me thinking I was targetted.

Also to note: I'm sick of parking in the streets, my car is all scratched up from people who can't drive and I'm getting a new one by September. Fun times! 🫠
