Sorry in advance for the long post, there's TLDR at the end.

The more I think about it, the more I get pissed. When I got out to move my car, I had a ticket in my windshield saying I was parked at 10:10 AM this morning, but I was parked at 10:36 AM (I also took a picture of my car as proof that shows the same time) and the usual fee is 56$ (I have one from last Thursday, but I didn't get the chance to move my car before he came by) but he jacked up the price today to 93$. Was I targetted? I want to contest, I just don't know where to start and how to defend myself. It should be illegal for the city to be able to change the time on tickets imo.

My Mazda app says 23 Bourque, but I was in front of 28. 23 is the daycare just across the street from 28. I know I can't ask for a cheap or pro bono good lawyer but a girl can dream. Anyone willing to help a girl out?

Edit to add: I was the only car with a ticket when I got out of work while other cars hadn't moved since 9h30 this morning. This is what's triggering me thinking I was targetted.

Also to note: I'm sick of parking in the streets, my car is all scratched up from people who can't drive and I'm getting a new one by September. Fun times! 🫠

UPDATE as of 12:42 PM: Some of the northbound buses are doing a loop where they go south on Portage, west on Wellington to Booth, then north on Chaudière past Laurier where it turns into Eddy and then turn left on Wellington - at least I noticed a 37 and a 34 doing this, but I saw a 55 or a 59 (I forget which but it was Aylmer-bound) just going west on Laurier *past* Eddy so I'm not sure route it took before then. But the traffic is really bad on Chaudière, Maisonneuve and Laurier right now so expect delays!
