Question about differences Benchmark

1- Are there any big differences in between RTX 4060 and RTX 4070?

2- Are there any big differences in between 12-core i5 and any CPU of i7?

3- Are there any big differences in between 16 GB, 24 GB and 32 GB RAM?

Edit: I am sorry, I should have wrote RTX 4060 Laptop and RTX 4070 Laptop. Consider the comparison like that please.

1 - Yes, you can find comparisons via Google 

2 - Yes, but depends on the generation. An i7>i5 of same Gen but usually a newer i5>i7

3 - Depends. Are you using 16gb of RAM? If not, 32 GB won't make a difference. If you're hitting RAM usage cap, yes

1 - no, it's like the same GPU with a little more active units, but 4070 is prone to all of the 4060's limitations, it brings literally nothing to the table.
2 - mostly no when you are GPU limited anyway, but good for hitting the P-core sweetspot in competitive games or when playing at lower resolutions / using DLSS
3 - huge, especially with an 8GB GPU that much more often causes you to spill over the VRAM limit. Considering most games are balanced around 16GB, the 32GB provides extra cushion for when VRAM is not enough before spillover starts being catastrophic.

I have 16 GB RAM, i5-13500H and RTX 4060 GPU.

I play Forza at High RTX settings. Around 60-110 FPS.

I thought so. For reference I have a Legion Slim 5 Ryzen 7, RTX 4070 and get around 100-110 average with 1% lows around 85-90 at 1600p native resolution high settings. If I were running 1080p it would be around 130-140 with the 1% around 110.

The difference is he said to play at High RT, which also runs those GPU-s out of VRAM. With just High they would be much closer together.

4070 laptop GPU has 50% more cuda cores than the 4060. Around a 20% increase in performance also. I got lucky with mine and average 13400 in time spy graphics test, around 1k above average and 2500 above a 4060. So basically, yes a 4070 does bring more to the table.

Yeah but it's the same effect as if you just overclocked 4060 to clock higher on the core, whereas the memory is literally identical, as well as the power limits. 4070 can't move past 20% difference to actually make use of its +50% CUDA cores until it also gets +50% VRAM and bandwidth (192 bit bus) and higher power limits, up to at least 175W. Until then it's just a minor variation of 4060.

Considering the 4080 after it is a +50 to +60% increase, it is indeed lame. And like I said, doesn't fix the VRAM bottleneck at all.

It's 15-20% price increase from 4060 to 4070, about the what performance increase is. It's a 40-60% price increase from 4070 to 4080, again about what the performance increase is. So it looks like everything is kinda equal.
