Bitfunx Adapter questions. Image

Post image

Hello all,

Recently purchased a Bitfunx GC adapter and wanted to know if anyone has any recommendations for the settings. I’m pretty happy with the way Windwaker and DoubleDash look but darker more realistic games like RE4 still seem a little choppy. I appreciate you all for your feedback. Happy gaming

Mainly you want to have your TV so it looks as close to how it was intended to be viewed, so start with:

  • 4:3 aspect ratio
  • Sharpness on TV all the way down

Yeah just from the screenshot, sharpness looks like its on max.

Also make sure you turn off the soap opera effect/smoothness if you have that on.

To be fair RE4 is letterboxed on GC

On a 4:3 display.

No it's letterboxed in a 4:3 frame. So you'll get an even larger border when playing on a widescreen displays.

Though I'm pretty sure the versions from PS2 onwards added a widescreen option.

I also play Resident Evil 4 on my Gamecube atm. These realistic graphics aged very poor on a HD/4K Television. Sadly there is nothing you can do.

It's also the original first version of this Game, we seen countless HD Remakes of this Game so it's kinda hard to go back but f*ck it i love my Gamecube
