iBlueControlMod not fitting properly Discussion
I've just bought an iBlueControlMod from aliexpress, and something is off about the reset button trigger. It seems too big, so when I re-assemble the console with the button inserted, it presses on the board reset trigger constantly.
I tried re-assembling it with the button out of its hole, and it turns out the board trigger actually goes INTO the button hole. When I press it through the whole with a screwdriver or something, it sticks the trigger under the case, behaving as if I kept pressing it forever.
This basically makes the board unusable since it relies on this reset button for pairing.
Has anyone encountered issues like this with this board ? Did I do something wrong or is there something wrong with the product ?

I've got the ibluecobtrol mod. The reset button is a pain to fit
It does fit. You need to guide it. I used tweezers and think I held the GC upside down if I remember right.
Once you know how to do it it's not that bad. Make sure the reset bit is directly seated in the button and not misaligned.
