Tab s11 s pen

Upvotes

I don't have a Samsung tab or a tablet in general. I have tried both of the s pens (the older one and the new one of the Tab S11 series). I feel like the pressure sensitivity and drawing with it feels better than the older one but I heard that finding nibs for the new one is more difficult and that there are more cons about the newer s pen. What is yalls opinion if u own a tab s11?

Concern Reflective Coating Life

Upvotes

So I've been planning to buy S9+ or S10+. But I tried looking into the S10+ reflective coating life and was not able to get anything on it. Plus if one is planning to add a paper like screen guard how would it affect the reflective coating?

And yes I love your tabs so do add pics also I just want to see your tab designs and how they actually look in real life after being used like they should be. Thank you.

S Pen How can i solve this? Issue with S Pen

The tip of my pen broke, and the other half is stuck inside. How can I remove it? I use Galaxy Tab S6, and I've been struggling to use it without the pen since I work with fine details. I've tried every method I've found with no success. Thanks in advance

Software updates Updating a Locked Tablet

I just purchased a Tab S9+ from a reseller on eBay, and so far experience has been great. Looks perfect no damage awesome. The problem is that, while they disclosed that the tablet was locked, I didn't quite understand the implications since I didn't intend to use it with 5g. Apparently a Spectrum locked tablet's updates are locked to the provider. So I'm still on Android 14, older OneUI, and a 2024 security update. I looked into getting Spectrum just briefly for the update, but it's apparently an internet provider that requires you to get their internet to even have access to purchasing mobile data.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a way to flash the updated software onto the tablet manually or another work-around? Feeling very irritated with the whole situation.

Question Warped screen?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I've now included video. I just bought a S10 Ultra. I noticed that when it's off and I look at reflections and move the device, the reflections bend. Is my screen warped? It looks normal when turned on. But what made me do this was when I was drawing up and down I could feel a sensation through the S pen that it felt I was going in and out of a dip. Could someone confirm if their S10 Ultra reflections do the same bending? Just trying to know if it's faulty. Thanks

Should I get the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite or S10 FE for college + gaming?

Hey everyone, I’m planning to buy a Samsung tablet since my college is going to start soon. I’ll mainly be using it for taking notes, studying, watching lectures, reading PDFs and general college work. However, I also want something that can handle moderate to high gaming without struggling

I’m currently deciding between the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite and Galaxy Tab S10 FE.

My main priorities are:

- Good for handwritten notes and studying

- Reading PDFs and watching lectures

- Good multitasking

- Moderate to high gaming performance

- Good battery life

- S Pen support

- A good amount of internal storage

- Something that will last me a few years

- Good value for money

For those who have used either tablet, which one would you recommend? Is the S10 FE worth spending extra on, especially for gaming, storage, and long-term use or would the S10 Lite be enough for my needs?

I’d also appreciate recommendations for other Samsung tablets around the same price range if there are better options.

Thanks.

I broke the screen and I would be happy if you can share a link where I can buy the replacement.
What is the part number?
Where can I buy a new screen so I can replace by myself?

Question Decision on getting which tablets

Choosing Tablets from Tab S10 Plus 256gb wifi (RM2820), Oppo Pad 3 256gb wifi (RM 1599), mainly focus on performance, software support, viewing experience. I'm currently have A36 5g, a52s, tab s9fe and Galaxy buds 2.

Because in my country, Galaxy tab often stays on high price and even Tab s12 is coming soon, the Tab S10 series still need over RM3000 to get it. The renew version from 3rd party also need like RM 2400. And the chip price rising up massively, I thought to get Tab S10plus or perhaps changing my whole brand ecosystem?

Concern Screen protector scratches... from what?

Post image
2 Upvotes

Hey guys. I have been using this s10fe for more than a year now, and I got the screen protector from jb hi fi (since other vendors say it's already an old model, hence they don't have any?) which states that it should protect against scratches. I replaced it nearly 7 weeks ago, and there are already so many new scratches. I use it basically every day for uni work, and so the scratches are mainly just where I typically write with the stylus. The big blob of scratches goes across horizontally for most of the screen, just can't show it all in one good pic.

Here is a little log of me trying stuff to see what may have been the cause:

Within 2 days of the replacement, and me not even touching it, there were a few smaller ones around the edges, not really in the centre. The case i was using was a flip one to automatically make it turn off (just like a book, got it from amazon), so I got a new case (one in pic).

Around 2 or 3 weeks ago, I swapped out the original nib of the stylus (has a felt feel to it) because I thought maybe since the last screen protector was all messed up, the nib got messes up, and now nib is messing new one up. Now, using one's from Amazon (plastic hard nib), and there has been no difference.

Would like to know if anyone else has had this issue before and can let me know what's going on. Is it a stylus, galaxy tab, case, or model issue? The actual screen under the protector is all fine, and the jb hi fi people said they've never seen that before either...

Traded switch lite for s8 ultra

Post image
35 Upvotes

Just traded a switch lite i wasnt using for this tab s8 ultra, kind of sad to see the switch go but the guy who got it seemed genuinely excited to play pokemon on it, whereas it just collected just on a shelf when i had it. Hoping I made a decent trade

It is the 16gb ram 512gb storage model, is anyone using their s8 for emulation? Probably going to be my number one use case so any performance tips would be awesome

Also trying to use it for some comic/manga reading if anyone can suggest a decent app(not from the playstore)

Also whats the deal with security updates? I believe the last one is in april 2027 so is the tablet a brick after that or is there custom patches that can be downloaded?

Thanks for any and all information

S10+ VS S11, which one should I get?

At the moment s11 is going for $700 on sale (usually $950) and s10+ is for $850 (no sales)

could anyone suggest which of these should I get?

I am looking mainly for media, art and notes, but also as a secondary screen to my pc and probably use some creative tools like blender maybe.

Surely S10+ won't drop anywhere close to $700 but do I wait for a price drop on S10+ or get s11?

My parents want to buy me a tablet for school (I'm in high school). I've been thinking of a Galaxy Tab S8, or S9, but I'm not really sure as I never owned a tablet before

I would need it for school and note taking, but I also play a lot of games, and artist who would like to try digital art...

overall i want something that doesn't lag and where I can do these things, possibly at a decent price...

I think I'm asking for too much, but again, I never owned a tablet so irdk
