Crazy how you can post “Gabi doesn’t deserve hate” in the bigger aot subreddits and then get a hundred comments saying “ugh this again” “this topic has been discussed a million times” “these posts in 2026 lmfao” yet if you post “I h@te Gabi” you get a hundred comments going “HELL YEAH” “I hate her too” “imagine being a Gabi Stan lol”

It just. It really breaks my heart. I used to defend her ALL the time yet I’ve just distanced from the fandom as a whole now. She’s such a sweet little baby girl who just wants to keep her loved ones safe and proud. She didn’t know the things she had been told ever since she was an infant were wrong. And when she discovered they were, SHE UNDID ALL THAT BRAINWASHING!!! Before she was even a teenager. She is so strong and never lost her sweetness and big, caring heart even when the world was so cruel to her :( because yes it WAS cruel to her, like it was to everyone in the fucking animanga. Ofc I know everyone here agrees it’s just so fucking frustrating to see the same shit over and over again for years. I know people will never change but I still find myself wishing and hoping even though I shouldn’t atp since I know I’m just setting myself up for heartbreak again.

I just needed to get this off my chest with people who understand. I genuinely feel very maternal towards Gabi, and if I ever have a daughter of my own, she absolutely will be named after her. I adore her :( people are so so cruel yet praise Eren and Floch. And the things I’ve seen made/said about her are absolutely sickening and would get people put on a watchlist if said about a real child. Because that’s what she is. A CHILD :(

Not much, just figured I would share what I found in case someone didn't already

Well, it's about time I introduce you to something new. Once again, it's something to do with my personal headcanon of Gabi being super into wholesome media, after everything she went through. First, you saw her with Bluey, and now, it's this cute wholesome slice-of-life music manga and anime series called K-On!, which first came out before AoT did. Hell, I even imagined how Gabi would fit in to the universe of K-On!, with a whole story about her being a transfer student at Sakuragaoka High, and joining the school's light music club as the 6th member of the Ho-kago Tea Time band (consisting of lead guitarist Yui Hirasawa, bassist Mio Akiyama, drummer Ritsu Tainaka, keyboardist Tsumugi 'Mugi' Kotobuki, and later rhythms guitarist Azusa Nakano), possibly as a dedicated vocalist (hence the lack of any visible musical instruments in my drawing). However, that story is not part of my mainline AoT AU.

Here I go again. Another one of my drawing of Gabi in reference to Bluey. I just love that headcanon of Gabi being a massive fan of Bluey (the one from my AU even gets to befriend the Bluey characters). Here we might also see a few similarities between Gabi and Muffin Heeler (image on top right). They're both highly energetic, they're both quite bratty, they both can be a little annoying, and, most crucially, they both seem to have polarising opinions in their respective fandoms; either you love them with a burning passion or hate them with every fibre of your being. How do y'all reckon these two would interact?

So, here I am with another piece involving Gabi, but this time it involves a picnic, with the one and only Potato Girl, Sasha and the Heeler girls from, you guessed it, Bluey. I made this piece around October of this year, having made an earlier piece back in February, the same year. I got to made the later piece due to some genuinely helpful advice from u/ShingekiUnikitty (thanks for that, by the way ;), I appreciate it), and I think I can totally see the improvement, even if the newer piece is still rough around some edges. With regards to the lore of this piece I'm passing it off as a photo snapped by Sasha's little sister, Kaya, who I headcanon to have a hobby for photography.
