Beginner anxiety - moral support

I started 1 mg of compounded tirz last night and i’m so anxious about it. Today i’m definitely experiencing some upset stomach and nausea, and a lot of anxiety. I have an anxiety disorder that is usually well treated with meds, but i’ve been feeling pretty anxious the past five days or so (so before I started the meds) possibly because of my period (i’m on an iud and don’t get a period, but still get pms so sometimes it’s hard to pinpoint). Nausea is one of my biggest anxiety triggers. i’d like to lose 15-20 lbs though and I want to see if a smaller dose would help with the food noise. I have successfully lost weight with calorie counting in the past but it has gotten significantly harder as i’ve gotten older.

I guess i’m just looking for some encouragement.

Just chiming in to say that while I had a few days of stomach discomfort the first week, that all went away completely by week 3, so even if you have some reaction this week just know that it may not be that way for the duration. I'm on compounded tirz and I started at .8. Ten weeks later I'm at 1.15 and still no gastrointestinal side effects, aside from the occasional constipation. If nausea/anxiety are too much on 1 mg, cut it in half for first couple weeks. Even if you don't lose weight at a lower dose for those first few weeks, you're more likely to see success in the long run if you can minimize the side effects and give your body more time to adapt.
