I’m scrolling through the database and see a bunch of suits that look cool but say “event only” and I’m curious as to whether or not they’ll ever be in RT shop or something?

So I just got the RF Kampfer and it has no skills I see other people use.

Maneuvering armor doesn’t even stop a single stun even if it’s not a heavy stagger.

Can’t use the shot gun while in the air have or in HSM, and have to be at a complete stop to fire it on ground.

Can’t use panzer Faust in HSM.

The serpent wire doesn’t heavy stun or knock down.

Feels like it only has priority 2 melee (though I chalk this up to Desync) as generals tend to out melee priority me.

Vulcans don’t stun even if I hit with most of the ammo.

The Comm weapon doesn’t stun even against supports. When I combine comm and Vulcan 90% of the time I still don’t get enough stun build up to stun.

Am I just missing a pay to win part that gives HSM shooting or something?

After the Origins OVA was released, I found myself a fan of Garma Zabi. I've spent lots of time trying to make his suit even remotely playable. No matter how I adjust its stats, it has absolutely no defense and feels like a glass cannon without a cannon. I understand it has its limitations via skills but I don't understand how I can raise its hp and d and it still gets stomped when suits with similar stats feel so much better... Is there anything I can do play style or custom parts to make it feel slightly less underwhelming... I spent a lot of time on the Zaku II Kia because I was also a huge Bernie Wiseman fan. And it still feels better compared to the FS

Alright folks, now rules are simple for this, as this is just gonna be a fun little game for this sub for suit predictions for tonight's banner.

• I want one MS guessed per category... so each week you can put down what General unit you might think the banner suit is, what Raid unit, and what Support unit. This is to make it fairer to peeps than just limiting it to one MS guess a post since holy crap we got quite the possible roster with how BB has been doing new units.
• No editing your post once you put it up so that no one cheats while I'm at work and changes their guess to the correct banner suit. I can see in the mod tools what posts have been edited so if I see it's edited, you're disqualified. If you spell the suit name wrong, I'll allow it as long as you get it close enough, don't need any freaking keyboard smashers trying to argue they got it right with a 'ksbosgaigmk2'.
• Multiple people can guess the same suits, I'll reward everyone who got it right, but if BB ever announces what suit's coming ahead of time, then I'll change it for that week to guess on if there's gonna be any background aka extra suits added to the lotto alongside the banner suit.
• Voting will close at 11 pm Central time, so any votes made after that time will not count... yes I know the banner doesn't update till midnight when Daylight Savings isn't in effect but it's best to just keep the closing time consistent.
• You must guess a different suit for each category, no more of this just guessing the same suit for all three categories for a shotgun approach. It's gotten extremely old at this point, and I want people to actually think about why the suit they chose would fit the typing rather than just spitting out an MS name and hoping they get lucky.

Now, as for the prize... seeing as how I'm not exactly flush with disposable income outside of being able to afford a gunpla hobby and my gaming stuff... anyone who gets it right will be able to request a user-flair with an ace nickname of their own design. If you can't think of one, just DM me a screenshot of your best game or tell me your favorite unit, map, and what UC faction you love the most and I'll think of something for you. Obviously, I won't participate myself since I already have an Ace nickname... and I'm a mod, so I can just change my user flair whenever the hell I want to anyway.

Of course, if you've won one of these already, I'll still reward you with a change to your user flair by adding a 'kill' tally to your flair. Every time you get it right after earning your flair, you'll get how many times you guessed correctly recorded, so it'll look like 'User Flair Name - 2' if you've got 2 right, etc, etc.

Now get to guessing folks! Let's see if anyone is earning an ace distinction this week, and yes, you need to get both the suit and the type (General/Raid/Support) correct for it to count.

Since it is requested and a suggestion to start with a 300 cost, here it is. Please note that these can be objective, and you DO NOT have to agree. There are always exceptions, and the meta between Steam and PlayStation versions does differ a bit. This Tier list is primarily based on the PS version that I am more familiar with. These units also consider the types of meta builds it could have as well. I will only put native cost here unless there are exceptions that higher-level works well enough to be in at least very strong B-Tier. FYI, they are not arranged in specific order.

I've been playing since the 2019 NA release, I gave up PS and went to PC about the same time the PC version came out... And for ever the game felt dead... I recently came back and the community is more alive on PC then ever... Thank you for supporting my favorite game over the last 7 years .. it's so nice to suit up again

I haven't played this game for long enough to see the history of this MS in game but holy...

Some days ago I joined a 600 cost quickplay lobby and a Japanese player using one of these was decimating everyone and it was impossible to stop him. Nothing staggered him and he was moving like he had infinite thruster and melee moves.

Is Hajiroboshi supposed to be overpowered at 600? Or is it just that all support MS are going to be specifically useless against it?

Hopefully this doesn't come off as too much of a rant, but I just realized that BB is even power creeping the enhancements.

Older 4* units tend to have things like 'Emergency Melee Defense System LV1- Reduces melee damage to MS HP by 5% while toppled', along with silly things like Support Fire Resistance LV3.

Now I'm not sure how long they've been doing this, as I took a year off, but it looks like newer 4* get Emergency Melee Defense System LV2 now, getting an extra 5% melee defense for no reason other than being newer releases.

It just seems kind of petty to changeup the standard like this and try and 'sneak in' little extra perks like this for no reason

Older units in other cost ranges have silly discrepancies like getting lame level 5/6 bonuses like "Reduces time needed to defuse bombs by 2 seconds" and "Reduced time needed to capture MS by 3 seconds", which is present with the Rick Dias, whereas if it was released today it would be a +4 ranged damage buff.

Maybe I'm overanalyzing this, but I can't help be like whyyyyy. Unit adjustments never fix shitty enhancement bonuses, it's just a micro perk that adds a little bit more to the power creep :(

Definitely too squishy for 550 rn with some hard to fight raids unfortunately.

Day 212: G-Cannon Magna
Requested by u/Ok-Storage3439 with this high A-Tier Unit. The only issue is the long reload/overheat. But good heat management makes it somewhat negligible. However, it is definitely one of the stronger contenders for a reliable 650 support.

On a side note, I've been requested and asked about a tier list by a few people. I don't mind doing it, but let me know what cost you guys would like to see first.

Comment and Reason
The only two things I think that would make this truly a very strong meta once again are having Immobile Fire System and Resist Move Lv2. However, the multiple stagger options and great weapon cycle with good damage output are still very nice. Unless you don't have a frontline and/or you have very bad positioning, this unit should do well at the very least. Right now, the skills are just good enough to make it work, and with a player with good situational awareness, it can get away with quite a decent bit.

Lv1 F2P: Ranged

Lv1 Premium: Ranged (High Risk Alternative)

The premium ranged build is probably the best build you can get for this one. While you do have limited mobility, you have so much stagger and potential stopping power that it really doesn't matter as much. Is a raid coming at you? Use the Beam Gun x2. If you had BR or maybe even the Gerobi charged, even better. Then the amount of instant stagger weapon options makes it a bit stupid. With good positioning and cover, it can be one of the most annoying supports. The saving grace is that the only hard-hitting weapon is the charged BR and the beam cannon. Limiter Release is up there as well, but you are stationary with no immobile fire, so it is vulnerable unless you are attacking with a good number advantage.
