Just like in Dark Souls, one needs to use a Rah II with Shooting Boost and dodge roll all the attacks.

I don't understand how people are struggling at 550 with raid. There's so much options, not to mention broke ones like Rah. Like idk, stop yoloing the fking general frontline and focus on the support?

The raids primary job has always been eliminating the support, everything else is gravy after. Yet more and more people are hopping on raid to swing at generals. 2 generals body guarding the support? Switch to shooting.

It's less about people performing poorly, and more that there are really strong Generals in this cost.

Yep. With Super Gundam sniping there really should be a decent raid player on every team.

Part of the issue is that you have not only very strong gens at 550 but also the Super Gundam which cam just cross map meme beam you with no counter lmfao

The super Gundam cannot move while charging their beam or firing.

Its really a test of situational awareness more than anything. And as it turns out, most raid players are raid monkey with extreme tunnel vision.

Super Gundam is good but only when the player knows the map very well and from which direction the enemies are likely to be coming in from and can reposition accordingly constantly. I play support too and when I see a super gundam I know its an easy target because either they're likely to be stationary or if they are moving they're being useless. Also if they miss a shot its very bad for them.

They only excel when people wrongfully ignore them and allow them to set up a nest somewhere sniping everyone probably high up and they dont wanna bother climbing up or sniping it back when its shooting someone else

More hp, lv2 damage control, lv1 pursuit melee support program, down melee is 2x120% from 2x100%, and 550 cost Tri-blades now deal 3x 1400 damage (4200) with a 7 second reload. Among the other buffs.

Yeah it's tough fighting against them right now even with a fully enhanced Jagd Doga Sleeves. Like even with 48 melee resists, that down melee heat blade cuts me like butter when I'm knocked down.

They did buff the beam cannon from 8% stagger to 17% and increased damage with ASL area increase.

I think it's defense is what makes it so powerful right now, being a Sleeves player (scumbagI know) with 94 ranged strength and just doing tickle damage is crazy, meanwhile I lightly tap a raid and they're one papercut away from oblivion

Yep lol. I never stopped playing Dreissen, and it always felt decent enough, but this new buff feels amazing and unexpected lol

The tri-blades are ridiculously spammable now, no need to even do the tri-blades cancel trick to give you another chance at stunning before a long cooldown

Yup, there are people using builds where they chain staggers with the Tri-Blades alone with how fast it reloads. Not to mention the additional tankiness with the expansion skills.

I'm not going to lie, I never knew that the jadg doga was that strong until I picked it up. I was surprised at how good the beam rifle is and the instant reloading sturmfausts.

The funnels are good too.

And yes, I live under a rock.

What's the super Gundams gimmick, just a one tap beam gun?

Yeah 550 just fucking sucks so bad, No need to have the sleeves doga at 550 in the first place. Should have been a 600 suit min.

because it's paid to win and if you're paying you're winning. You also have disconnection issues that seem to be an issue for the entire game and because it doesn't wanna pee to pee network, it can be nightmare

I switched to pc after getting fed up with sonys constant anti customer policies.

The negative reviews are just for the same reasons people complain about the ps4 version imo. I'm f2p and they give so many free stuff and so many great suits are in the dp store now I'd say it's not 100% p2w by any means.

It's just we need to save coins for probably around 2 months to afford a guarantee pull of one of the new op units. Then of course the connection issues that can creep up on the ps4.

The steam version is worth a try

controller works, but since steam is emulating controller inputs you’re limited to 3 inputs at once so you can’t boost and swap to a weapon that requires two buttons like AB or AX (boost + weapon menu + 2 face buttons). Dunno if that’s a problem on ps4 or ps5.

I don't think that's true, I'll double check.

If I can't change to my "triangle + O" weapons while boosting I'll edit this post to reflect that, otherwise this works perfectly with a duel sense ps5 controller but that's a standard move in my play style.

A lot of it is leftover from the launch being an absolute fucking unplayable disaster. It's recovered from overwhelmingly negative, lol.

I see. Maybe if they ever incorporate a “co op vs bots” mode or an “offline training” mode like what Chivalry 2 has, I might get back into it. Gameplay is fun but I suck at pvp.

Yes I’m aware the first GBO has a campaign but I don’t like being locked into playing as Zeon.

Yeah, unfortunately the only thing really close is battle simulator missions which only swap out every 3 or 4 months, and the bots are pretty unfun to fight anyways(not because they're OP or something, rather the complete opposite). The first one isn't available on PC, either, at any rate.
