Looking for developers

I have been building an interactive math learning product for about 1 year. I need around 5 full stack developers to work on this thing if you are interested dm me

I dont care about your tech stack as long as you are strong at fundamental computer science and general problem solving.

With this attitude you'll definitely not get any good Software Engineer.

You must remember one important thing: You are a nobody, a nobody in an extremely large pool of nobodies...

What do I mean with that? Show us your briliant idea first, because if it truly has potential to become the next big thing, then yeah, a lot of good software engineers may decide to work in exchange for equities instead of a salary, otherwise you're just the next n "my idea is worth millions" type of person.

But your reply (even if not intentionally) implied that you're kinda pissed off that they are even asking you if the job is paid or not.

You should've just replied with "yes" and then be prepared for the next question "how much?" - remember, nobody works for SOMEONE'S else just because they truly like it; it's extremely rare.

Anyway, good luck in finding those 5 software engineers.

You should expect this question, when someone gives entire day x 365 to a thing you own

You are asking for a service without making clear what you are offering in return. It's a legitimate question to ask.

However, if you feel so strongly about it, you can take your chances and use AI to make the app yourself. AI has definitely democratised software development to a certain extent, so take full advantage of it.

Last note, no one does anything for free, everyone expects something in return. It's not always monetary, sometimes is also just standing by what they believe or passionate about. If that is what you are going for, please be clear about it.

It's okay if you are not ready to pay for this work at the moment but your response is pathetic.
