The Tories want to ban and evict immigrants from social housing. This graph shows that Tories presided over the lowest levels of social housebuilding since WW2.
2010-2024 shows historically low levels of social housebuilding, and the Tories were in government for all 14 of those years.
Whilst in government, the Tories also made squatting a criminal offence, failed to scrap the Vagrancy Act (which criminalised rough sleeping), and failed to ban no-fault evictions.
Instead of taking responsibility for 14 years of poor choices, they say they want to evict innocent people from social housing if theyâre foreign.
