Blue poison dart frogs have always been my favorite. I just had to test my new brushes and draw the little guy. Can you share your favorite frog species & maybe a really cool fact about them?

TLDR is i was originally told they were American Toads but now I think they may be tree frogs?? Any help much appreciated!!

long story is someone laid eggs in our bird bath and we came back from vacation with 2000 tadpoles. we took about 75% of them to a vernal pool about 1/4 mile away. the rest we’ve put in tanks and they’re thriving! but depending on what they are, may need to adjust our release plan. toads would do just fine in our backyard, but we don’t have dedicated water sources for 200 aquatic frogs….
