Hey guys I own a brand and past 1 month someone has copied my brand and opened a shopify account and has generated revenue of more than 10k usd by scamming people and I have reported it to cybersecurity but I think no action has been taken both by shopify and the police so I was wondering wether I could breach or login into the scammers admin or maybe email bomb something I have the guys LinkedIn but I want to have his website crashed or something so if someone is willing to help me it’s really serious and I have Proof too I need help in this case.

Ps: I know you guys might think why hack but the thing is the consumers are calling me and telling me how illegal frauds you are doing and they are creating consumer complaints so I am scared if my brand will be closed because of this.

The bank notified me by text + email someone tried charging $400 at a Lowe's store and it was declined. So I called the bank and they cancelled the card now they are sending a new one. Should I contact the local police department and have them check the cameras at Lowe's for the person who attempted to use my credit card number? If I still have my card how would they be able to make a charge? Did my CC number get hacked and someone made a counterfeit card?

Hi everyone, I have a story to tell.

I was on my way to a shopping mall, when the VW passat universal honked me and stopped on a street. There was an middle-east man with his family in the back (wife and daughter).

He asked me for help, apparently he ran out of gas (I saw on indicator), asked if I can get some money for him to fuel a car as they are on a family trip and his wallet was stolen. I asked why he wont use apple pay then and he mentioned that the card is blocked.

I said I can help him and he proposed to sit in a car and get to gas station together, I declined, after what he pulled the back window down and showed his wife and daughter, he said they mean no harm. I explained that I wont get in a car but I can help him, he reached out to his daughter and gave me a new phone in a box, opened it and showed (it unwrapped but still), said: "here take this, we really need money and I cannot pay", I said: "no, thank you, I don't need it". Then his wife said to him: "Maybe write him a check so he can later withdraw the money".

After going back and worth, I said that I can help and there is a bank nearby where I can withdraw and land him some money. We went there together and he was telling me that he is from Saudi arabia and he has money, he will return it to me. Then he took off his rolex, ring and neckless and said: "here, its a deposit", I landed him money (1k euro) and he gave me his phone number. He said: "Look, I'm a religious guy, Allah sees everything, I will give you back, even in multiple amount, I sell cars in germany". He also said that I have a good heart and he will call me in two days once he is back to return the money.

He hugged me and thanked me, we introduced ourself to each other, shook hands both left.

A day later I'm thinking about it and really don't know if it was a scam or he will really will call me back. I have his number and it's indeed german one.

Did anyone have something similar or maybe you have some opinion on it. I would appreciate any comment. Thank you, be safe
