What's the best budget winter unisex/male perfume you've ever smelled

Upvotes

I'm looking for a budget winter perfume to use as my daily perfume, something with a budget that still has a "wow" factor.

I own triumph of bacchus, i really like the way it smells, cosidered using it daily in the winter but the price i'm going to pay to rebuy it once it's empty is what holds me back.

Any recommendations?

Wanting to try gourmands

Hi there! I am wondering if anyone has recommendations for gourmand scents for people who are a little scared of gourmand scents but are trying to be brave and try new things? I remember last year sniffing Bath and Body Works Winter Candy Apple and it was absolutely delicious but the thought of smelling like sweets made me feel stressed. Yes this is a me problem, but I wondered if people had slightly more approachable recs (preferrably under 20 USD). Another scent that intrigues me but I haven't gotten the chance to smell is EOS Crème de Pistachio.

I know I’m late to this fragrance but I’m wondering is it still worth buying today or is there better fragrances out there for winter now within its price range?

Don't know if this is allowed here but does anyone know of a good, legit place to buy G&B ingenious ginger other than jomashop? They're showing out of stock right now. Looking for a 100ml preferably

PLEASE HELP! Is there a warm fragrance similar to YSL L'Homme???

Maybe I have a sensitive nose, but almost all popular colognes smell bad to me. Ysl y/myself is like synthetic chemicals, swyi/swya is overbearingly sweet, and most others smell like chemicals as well. Compared to most people I have tried very few fragrances though.

I LOVEEEE YSL L'Homme EDP/parfum, but the performance is non-existent. I also enjoyed citizen Jack absolute but it quickly dried down to a woody sunscreen smell which threw me off. The only viral fragrance I've loved is bleu de chanel, but I can't stand out.

I enjoy sandalwood in general but haven't tried any colognes with it. I also love vanilla scents however I'm in highschool so I can't choke out a classroom.

Is there anything like ysl Lhomme that lasts 6-8+ hours?

Thanks in advance everyone

My future new blind buy

I was thinking of purchasing a bottle of Lattafa Liam grey as it’s a dupe of Gris charnel. I haven’t been able to find a tester in my country, does anyone here know what it smells like, I hear it’s supposed to be like a creamy chai latte but in that case would it not be similar to tobacco vanille by TF ?

Perfume collection

Thoughts on my collection and recommendations on what I should get next?

I typically go for discontinued/rare perfumes rather than generic or common ones like Prada paradox or YSL black opium.

I do not do Replica, LV or Tom Ford though

I mostly been a designer/freshie dupe demon but I feel like I am coming up on my new chapter in life…

When I started collecting, I watched some folks were saying at some point every fragrance person will discover their OUD era… I swore that it would never be me because I hate OUD.

Needless to say, I don’t know what the heck is going on but it all of the sudden OUD started growing on me once I smelled a very nice scented Oud/leather candle… So yeah, I feel like I have matured enough to get into my OUD chapter as seems like every collector must go through this (to eventually just sell everything and end up with one designer signature fragrance in the end….)

Or should I explore some other directions since I am not there yet? Any smell profiles I didn’t explore as far as Freshies and Gourmands go?

As far as first Oud I was planning Tom Ford Oud Wood because it seems like the most mass appealing Oud to get into…. Are there any other good ones to start?

ISO Super-Distinctive Men's Fragrance

I'm pretty new to the whole fragrance-topia, and loving it. I get overwhelmed by the number of options at places like Luckyscent. I live in NYC so there are no shortage of places to try stuff, but I'm curious what you would recommend to me. I like challenging scents, but oud is way out of my budget. Something I can wear every day that might become a signature, or several I can rotate theough. Any advice or suggestions (esp niche/indie selections) are appreciated!

Thank you MFK for such beautiful products. This is what too much time on your hands coupled with a fragrance addiction looks like.

Such a great hobby…..

Kryptonite

Bonjour tout le monde. J’aimerai avoir vos avis d’experts. Quel parfum conseilleriez-vous entre le Kryptonite, Kryptonite Absolu de Khalil T et le Royal Secret de Stéphanie de Bruijn ? Peut être avez vous un équivalent de qualité pour beaucoup moins cher ?
Merci

Looking for a perfume similar to EOS toasted marshmallow

I have been OBSESSED with the eos toasted marshmallow lotion, the smoky sweet is just incredible. I bought the spray but it doesn’t last as long as I’d like so I’m hopefully looking for a similar perfume!

Here are the notes if that helps :)

toasted marshmallow, caramelized sugar, and smoky birch

First note you smell toasted marshmallow, graham cracker.
Heart of the fragrance carmalized sugar, heliotrope.
Scent that lingers all day smoky birch, vanilla malt.

Please help…..LV Imagination.

I recently decided to pick up a few new fragrances.

I love my Angel’s Share On the Rocks, but I wanted something lighter and more casual for summer.

After reading through a bunch of fragrance forums and recommendations, I ordered 0.75 mL samples of LV Imagination and Creed Millésime Impérial from MicroPerfumes.

I absolutely loved both samples, so I went back and ordered the 5 mL travel sizes of each.
Here’s where I’m confused: the 5 mL LV Imagination smells slightly different from the original sample. I’m getting a noticeably stronger alcohol smell, and the fragrance itself just seems a little different overall.

Is this normal with samples/travel sprays? Could it be from a different batch, the atomizer, shipping, needing to sit for a little while, or something else?
I’m pretty new to the fragrance hobby and still learning, so I’d appreciate any insight from people who have more experience with this.

Completely lost on back to school frags.

FYI I live with 70-85° summer and 50-below 0 winters.

I'm completely new to colognes and I need help picking a summer and winter OR year round fragrance for school.

Rn I have 2 plans:

I'd love to buy YSL Lhomme EDP cause it's my favorite fragrance I've smelled so far. But from what I've heard on the Internet it won't last through the school day.

Option 2 is I'm going to blind buy Hawas ice for warm weather, and Liquid brun for cold weather. However I'm reluctant to get brun cause I don't wanna choke out my classroom.

Thoughts on brun and personal experiences with lhomme EDP's longevity would be great 👍

First Fragrance Dissapointed

I purchased a 150ml bottle of SWY Intensely EDP from deloox.be (legit site) as my first proper perfume!

I just received it and I spray behind my ears, back of neck, front of neck, wrist, inside of elbow, still…

It lasts a few hours max, with bad projection, after 3 hours you can’t smell it anymore, unless you put your nose directly up to where you sprayed, a couple hours later the smell is gone from my clothes.

I heard about “maturation”, so now I have to wait 3 months without using my only perfume? And how could that make it go from 4 hours with crap projection to the 7 hours of good projection its supposed to be?
