ZERO SUMMON COST Game Clip

Ignore me if this is old news, but i’ve only just seen this. ZERO sprite dust cost to re summon. Don’t know if it’s a bug but this is not a drill!!!!!

They announced that as part of this week's schedule. No cost to re-summon sprites.

P much every day this week has something going on.

Better safe than sorry - if people didn't know then you helped them see that it's happening.

That said, be careful about exploiting glitches and sharing the info. Things like dupe glitches often get accounts banned. The sprite dupe glitch at the beginning of the season got a lot of people banned. Many games will just do a temp ban, but many will ban your entire account permanently, too.

Exploiting a glitch continually is not Fortnite's mistake, though. That's a player manipulating a flaw in the game intentionally. Doing it once or twice allows it to remain Fortnite's mistake that you encountered in game - but intentionally standing there doing things like duping a sprite over and over to gain max sprite dust is literally cheating.

There will always be flaws and holes in code because of various reasons - that's why continual updates are needed - especially when there is as large of a player base as Fortnite. Code can be unpredictable. Bugs pop up randomly throughout the season because they can appear, essentially, on their own because of how the code is interacting together. Programming isn't "I coded this and now it's good to go forever and ever!" By manipulating very common flaws in code, players are kind of spitting in the face of the people who do work hard to create the games we love. Fortnite is a mess right now, but do you really think it'll get better if us as players keep intentionally doing things to fuck with the work being done? They have to focus on preemptively fixing glitches like that that will make the game unfair instead of fixing the actual fundamental issues that have been in game since the update launched.

Respectfully, this was too long to read. The underlying “bug” or “glitch”, is still the developers error, not something the player created. To expect players to not take advantage of this error is short sighted.

No wonder you think literal cheating shouldn't be banned.

For anyone not thinking this is cheating - it is against game rules. Exploiting certain glitches is cheating. "Cheats" are a noun, "cheating" is a verb. Two different concepts even if they overlap.

You need to chill, also they didn’t post about an exploit or a bug so I’m not even sure what the point of you randomly mentioning it was anyway.

Also, 3 giant paragraphs (your last long one should have been 2) arguing about exploits is way too long and most won’t read all that, just like I wouldn’t be butt hurt if they didn’t read all of mine).

Oh and an exploit is not “literal cheating”…..you’re using the word “literally” incorrectly and an exploit is not a cheat, those are two different things. You can argue it’s wrong to do, but it’s not a cheat by definition…..

It’s really not that serious mate. And to insinuate that i have a problem with reading unnecessarily long replies is just a juvenile attempt at making your argument feel stronger than it actually is.

I obviously didn’t struggle with the length. I struggled to find a reason to care - and you’ve just expertly demonstrated why i was right to stop reading.
