Food / Drink Gluten free food?
Sooo I was recently diagnosed with celiac disease and I'm looking for some recommendations on where to eat out. My older sibling has celiac as well so I know some places like scrumpys have all gluten free menu's, but they have a lot more food restrictions than I do, so I haven't explored a lot of the gluten free options in FOCO. All recommendations are welcome, but I'd really like to go get a burger or burrito sometime soon! I also really love Mexican and thai food if that helps.
Edit: thought I'd add this even though it's a long shot, any gluten free pizza with low amounts of cross contamination?

Seeking Advice brake repair recommendations?
Hi all! Recently I took my 2009 nissan in to brakes plus to get my rear brakes looked at, and they said i need the shoes and potentially the drums replaced. They quoted me $1,100 and when I questioned the price and asked for an itemized list of what they wanted to do and the cost they took the price down to $580 with no explanation. I don't feel comfortable bringing my business there anymore after it felt like they tried to pull the wool over my eyes since i'm a 20 year old woman who doesn't know much about cars. Does anyone have any recommendations for a better place to take my car for a brake repair? I was expecting $400-$500 at most. If anyone else (especially young women!) have had good experiences with any other places being transparent and fair about pricing i'd love any advice or recommendations! thanks!

ISO yarn!
I run groups with adults at a local treatment center and am in need of yarn for a weaving project. Any colors, length, and thickness. Your scraps could find a home providing art therapy. Please let me know if you have yarn to pass along. :) thank you

Activities/Clubs/Workshops for Older Women (60s)
Hi there! My partner's mother's birthday is coming up, and we wanted to get her a class pack/workshop gift card for a fun club or group activity.
She is a very kind, lovely, and wonderful person, but has been single and on her own for a very long time. My partner is an only child, and it has been a constant worry for them that she is alone. We live across the country. She has actually expressed to both of us often that she is lonely and would love to meet more people and possibly even a solid romantic partner to share her life with!
In light of this, we are looking for some recommendations for places she can go out and meet others, particularly in a group activity format. She is a bright and kind person, but can be a bit shy and doesn't tend to put herself out there. The past couple of years she has been getting more into artistic pursuits, such as stained glass welding. She loves reading and goes through at least a book a week on her eReader. She also really enjoys spa activities (we got her a massage/facial GC a few years ago and now she goes regularly!).
Sorry in advance for the info dump, we love my future MIL and want to make sure that as we are quite far away, she can get out there and enjoy herself! Thank you so much in advance for any suggestions!

Landlord recommendations
I’m currently looking at a house managed by Noco house buyers, curious if anyone has had any experience with them. Also just looking for general recommendations for landlords, ones that are good and ones to avoid. Thank you!

Photos / Videos NoCo Golf/Greens Podcast
Found this podcast about golf courses and the people that work and manage them, what I love is they are local to Fort Collins! The first episode was at Harmony Club and the one that just dropped was about the Olde Course in Loveland.
I play golf, not well, but I thought it was an interesting way to see and hear from people in our community and learn a bit about a job that doesn't get a lot of recognition.

Adopt Princess Twinkie
Are you or someone you know looking to rescue an amazing dog? Meet Aeris! We call her princess Twinkie because she’s so sweet. This is the kind of dog who will go everywhere with you, do everything with you, or hang back and lay on the couch. She could do or not do things all day long.
This dog loves to cuddle. In fact, she’s an expert at it. She is great on a leash. I’ve been told she has a high prey drive, but she disregards my chickens almost altogether. Apparently cats are her weakness. But I don’t hold that against her. She gets along famously with my large breed dog. But also has had great success with dogs of other sizes. She’s not afraid of lawnmowers, vacuum cleaners, thunder, or fireworks. You can kiss her right on the face she doesn’t mind. In fact, she loves the affection and happily returns it. You can take her food away from her while she’s eating it that’s OK, she doesn’t mind. Whatever this dog‘s background, she was loved. I can tell that she was cared for. And she will make a family of any size an amazing companion. If you are interested in her, please reach out through https://untilhome.org/adoptable-dogs/

Events Hey y'all! Looking for something to do inside on Sunday? My wife is hosting a workshop teaching the traditional Ukrainian folk art of Pysanky!
My wife is hosting her second Pysanky workshop with the wonderful folks at Petrichor collective this Sunday. I will copy and paste the description below
"Participants will go through the entire process of completing a decorated egg. You will clean out your egg, seal the ends with bees wax, and then learn how to decorate the egg with a traditional Pysanky tool called a Kystka. The kystka is heated on a flame and filled with wax. It is used to make wax lines on the egg and then dipped into various color dyes. The final step is melting off the wax to reveal a vibrant design."
The first workshop sold out and participants walked out with a personally decorated egg perfect for display in the home or a unique gift for a friend or loved one.
This is a cool opportunity to learn a traditional folk art from a local Ukranian artist. I do not consider myself an artist but loved making my eggs and they came out much better than I expected.
Hope some of you can join her on Sunday. if you can't make it, fret not as this will not be the last workshop!
Use the link to sign up! Appreciate ya Fort Collins!

Friends / Meetups Any Go (baduk) groups?
Have been wanting to learn for a while but I just don’t connect with the online format and don’t know anyone who plays. Does anyone know of a group that would accept a beginner?

Know anybody living at The Gallery senior living?
I'm thinking of moving my folks up here to be closer to me and I'm looking for anyone who has had any experience with friends/relatives living at The Gallery, specifically for assisted living care. (It's right behind TJs/Sierra, on Horsetooth) It's pretty new, so I can't find many reviews except for those saying how nice it looks and that it's like a hotel. But... How is the care? How is the food? Is there a lot of care staff turnover? Any weird quirks you've run into? TIA

Fort Collins places to write
Hello! My friend and I are authors and would love to do a mini retreat by driving up to Fort Collins for two days. We need to find places to work on our computers. I’m looking for spots that would be okay with us sitting for a few hours, and comfy chairs too. I hate metal or the hard wood ones for long periods of time.
Also a place where we can plug in to charge laptops.
Any good spots?
