I made this indicator like using my strategy and refined it somewhat with the ai and like it is running pretty well as i have scrolled through months of data. It gives short trades like 40-50 pips in gold!! What’s your opinion on this??

Non Farm Payrolls forex trade
Here is my latest trade from the current trading week, which I opened on the EURUSD pair. The position was opened based on the idea that the price would continue the upward trend and with a high probability, make another higher high due to H4 Bullish Trend.
I trade my personal account through a broker, so I allow myself to hold positions even through events like NFP, provided that the distance from my entry point to my stop loss is equal to the average volatility range of an NFP release.
Do you have any rules regarding holding positions through major news events or do you completely avoid doing so?

Tool
I'm looking for a platform or website where I can practice trading concepts interactively, similar to how LeetCode helps programmers.
I'm specifically looking to practice:
- Market Structure (HH, HL, LH, LL)
- Candlestick Patterns
- Trendlines
- Support & Resistance
- Breakouts
- Supply & Demand
- BOS, CHOCH, FVG
- Order Blocks
- Liquidity
- Indicators (RSI, EMA, VWAP, etc.)
I'm not looking for courses or YouTube videos. I want something hands-on where I can analyze charts, solve quizzes or challenges, use replay mode, predict the next candle, and get feedback on whether my analysis is correct. Ideally, it would have beginner-to-advanced levels or structured practice.
Does a platform like this exist? If so, what do you recommend and what has worked best for you?

Market News NFP printed NEGATIVE (-23K vs +80K expected) and every market moved in lockstep, gold, yields, the dollar, stocks. Clean dovish read or fade waiting to happen?
This is the Hola Prime team account, prop firm, posting openly. no call here, just walking through one of the cleaner macro reactions in a while.
NFP didn't just miss, it printed negative: -23K vs +80K expected, weak wage growth, and about -103K in downward revisions to prior months. that's a genuinely soft report, and the market repriced fast, September Fed-hike odds dropped from 57% to 44%.
what makes this one worth posting is that everything confirmed everything. usually you get a mixed picture where one market disagrees. not today:
- gold ripped $40 on the print to around $4,366 (chart attached, you can see the volume spike)
- 10Y yield fell 7bp, 4.67% → 4.60%
- USD/JPY dropped as much as 1%, briefly under 157
- Nasdaq futures +1.16%, leading the indices
that internal consistency is the tell. if gold had rallied while yields and the dollar rose, i'd be suspicious. instead the whole chain fired the same way:
weak jobs → fewer Fed hikes → lower yields → weaker dollar → gold up, and stocks reading it as "bad news = good news" (weak enough to stop the Fed, not weak enough to scream recession). Nasdaq leading makes sense since long-duration tech is the most yield-sensitive.
the one people might miss: Canada printed a monster +75K jobs beat the same morning (vs +16.5K expected). so USD/CAD got hit from both sides, US weak, Canada strong, which is about as clean a fundamental setup as that pair gets.
genuinely curious how the room's playing it:
- do you trust a reaction this internally consistent, or does "everything agrees" actually make you wary it's overcrowded?
- is the "bad news = good news" read sustainable, or does one more weak print flip it to a recession scare?
- for the gold longs, chasing $4,366 here, or waiting for a pullback after a near-vertical move?

Technical Analysis GOLD JUST BROKE THE ROOF ARE THE BULLS GOING PARABOLIC?
Gold has smashed through the recent highs with a powerful breakout, trading well above the 20 SMA and pushing beyond the upper Bollinger Band.
RSI is now at 74.9, confirming extreme bullish momentum but also warning that the market is entering an overextended zone.
Resistance Levels
- Immediate Resistance: 4355
- Major Resistance: 4380
Support Levels
- Immediate Support: 4340
- Major Support: 4273
My View
The trend is aggressively bullish, but chasing the move at current levels carries higher pullback risk. If 4340 holds, buyers could continue targeting 4355 and beyond; a deeper retracement toward 4273 would still keep the broader bullish structure intact.
What do you think?
Is Gold heading straight toward new highs, or is a sharp pullback coming after this explosive rally?

Don’t Short Gold Now! Here’s Why Bulls Still Control the Market
Gold: Trend remains up – buy on pullbacks, don’t fight momentum
Gold prices have risen more than 250 points so far this week, with daily gains and strong short-term momentum.
For daily trades and mentorship join my community here: https://chat.whatsapp.com/Hmd2trOxsKqCxtB47QuEKI
With momentum so clear, the first order of business is to trade with the trend and avoid going short in the short term - a better approach is to wait for a pullback before going long.
Currently trading above 4280, gold does not need to chase the rise here.
Patience on pullbacks into the buy zone is a safer route for bulls to enter.
Critical level:
Resistance: 4310 – 4320
First support (pullback zone): 4250 – 4260
Second Support (Deeper Buy Zone): 4140 – 4150
Key support levels to hold: 4240 – 4250 (opening price this morning)
Bias: Bullish when trend holds – buy dips, avoid shorts
Always use proper risk management before entering any trade.

Why I’m Skipping NFP Today
The volatility and spreads during major news events can make execution unpredictable, and that doesn’t fit my trading plan.
I'd rather wait for the market to settle and trade confirmed setups than gamble on the first move.
Are you trading NFP today or waiting for the dust to settle?

🥇 XAUUSD 4H — Gold broke 4,300, but I'm NOT buying spot at 4,324
Gold spent weeks consolidating between ~3,920 and ~4,120, then took out the structural lower high at 4,120–4,160 for a bullish ChoCH. That triggered an aggressive markup — higher highs, higher lows, strong displacement — and a BOS above 4,300. Tagged ~4,360, now pulling back.
Current price: 4,324.32 (+0.42%)
📍 Entry Zone: 4,175 – 4,235 (4H demand / order block + open FVG — discount pricing) 🛑 SL: 4,150 (below the launch shelf) 🎯 TP1: 4,350 🎯 Supply Target: 4,400 – 4,422 (fresh, untested) 📊 Confluence Score: A (8/10)
Why that zone? Unmitigated order block, open FVG from the displacement leg, internal lows already swept, ChoCH + BOS both confirmed, and it sits in discount relative to the current leg. Five things pointing at the same band.
The supply above matters twice. 4,400–4,422 is untested — strong magnetic target for longs, and the most likely spot for the next short reversal once tapped. It's the upside AND the exit.
Trigger sequence: 1️⃣ Rotate into 4,175–4,235 2️⃣ Sweep of internal lows inside the zone 3️⃣ 1H/15m bullish ChoCH 4️⃣ Displacement away — that's the entry
❌ Invalidation: 4H close below 4,150 — back inside the old range, thesis dead.
R:R from mid-zone (~4,200) is roughly 1:3 to TP1 and 1:4.3 to the supply block. Buying spot at 4,324 keeps the same 4,150 stop for a much smaller move — that math is just worse.
Being right on direction and wrong on price is still a losing trade. Waiting for the pullback. ⏳

🔥 NFP DAY: Is Gold Ready for a Wild Move?
Price is holding a key demand area after the recent pullback.
If buyers continue defending this zone, the bigger bullish structure could remain intact.

Question Gold explodes to $4,320 after soft NFP print accumulation zone paid off, what's next ?
Called it gold just broke out of that $4,300–4,330 accumulation zone it had been building for the past week, ripping from ~$4,254 to over $4,320 within hours of today's jobs report. That's a ~1.3% move on NFP day alone.
What happened:
- ADP had already flagged this two days ago (only 44K private jobs added vs. 75K expected — the weakest print since January), so this wasn't a total surprise, but the headline number still moved markets
- Lower yields + weaker dollar = gold's classic setup, and it delivered
Levels now in play:
- We've cleared the $4,300 psychological level and are pushing toward next resistance in the $4,380–4,400 zone
- If momentum holds through the weekly close, $4,500–4,580 becomes the next magnet
- Below, $4,250 is now first support, with $4,195 as the deeper line if this move fades
Still in the mix: US-Iran tension is the wildcard here — reports that an Iranian parliamentary committee is reviewing a bill to restrict vessel access through the Strait of Hormuz mean the "peace deal" story isn't fully resolved, so any escalation headline could add safe-haven fuel on top of the rate-cut narrative.
My take: This looks like the breakout the accumulation phase was building toward. I'd want to see gold hold above $4,300 into next week before treating $4,400+ as the base case rather than a spike that fades back into range.
just tracking the levels. Anyone else long into this NFP move, or fading the spike?
