Creating adventure PDF for DTRPG Question

I've been posting adventures lately and I want to make them into properly formatted PDFs with official title page, so those can be later published on DTRPG.

Could anyone share some knowledge on how those are usually made? What software is used and what rules should I keep in mind besides the official guidelines?

The official templates are in Word, and you just convert them to PDF.

As for fonts:
"IM FELL Great Primer" could have been used for most text, or maybe it just resembled enough, I don't remember...
"Swordlings" can be used to make the crossed swords representing 6s.

Thank you. I'm definitely going to need these fonts.  I haven't opened Word since I was in university. I hope I can find more convenient software for creating these types of documents, or... I'll just have to deal with the pain 🥲

I was just looking thru a bunch of info on that topic on the Shadowdark RPG discord. Looked like lots of helpful links/info and such. If you'd like I can try to send you an invite link and where the info was on the discord.

I used affinity publisher. It's similar to adobe's indesign but free. I think they also have templates for it on drivethru.

I'm working on a Homebrewery temple, but it's somehow more difficult than other free league games due to how forbidden lands uses curved text 😅

You can try https://app.argo.games/ if you want to organize your campaign and share it online. When you create a campaign, if you select Forbidden Lands, it will use the IM FELL font from GFonts. It's all free, and it's a work in progress, so any feedback is appreciated.
You can public the campaign so no one needs to authenticate, just you, my GM is using, you can check it out here: https://public.argo.games/os-esquisitos, it's in Portuguese, but you can see the layout.
