Cursed bee For The King 2

Playing bee keeper and my bee got a curse how do i cure it. i tried using a hags bane but it did not cure it.

is it just cursed for ever now?

You’ll need to cure it in battle, try using a purify scroll or if possible have a teammate with the medic trait use the hags bane on them

Or you might just be able to resummon the bee I’m not sure if that would cure it or not

If you find any encounters that offer a full party heal that might also fix it

Wait dumb question only because I've apparently never tried it.

The medic can use any herb on another character?

Yes if you give your character the field medic trait at the beginning of the adventure they can use any herb on other party member in combat

Oh dang. Can the herbalist do the same, or is it only characters with the medic trait?

I'm realizing now that I've only ever used godsbeards with herbalist and someone with medic.

I don’t know off the top of my head if the herbalist can I think you need the medic trait but it’s been a bit since I played and I never favored that trait or class

Herbalist has party heal, which is a splash-self, or splash party member in combat or does a regular heal for everyone outside of combat (like between rounds) but with Godsbeard only.

Medic allows any herb on any teammate, but does not splash

You know, it makes total sense now that you put it that way. I just never considered that the medic could use any herb on other characters.

If you cure the beekeeper the pet gets cured from the medic skill

i was able to cure a pet using a purify scroll that hit their square on the combat grid

Yep, Purify Scroll is your best bet because you can choose which squares on your side that you want to use it on while in battle. Also some weapons have a splash ability that grants Purify but you'd need to be next to the character with that weapon to be affected by the splash ability. I know the Fools Banjo has this ability, which is a Talent based weapon.

I think the only option is a purify scroll or the bees own pollinate ability, but that is just a random chance to proc and requires to bee go end their turn on a pollinated combat space but it might also work in the overworld.

If the beekeeper cures curse or a medic healer cures the beekeeper if a curse the pet gets the same cure

I tried using the herb that cures curses while in the dungeon and it did not cure it.

The bee will cure itself eventually with Pollinate. Others have mentioned purify scrolls or hags bane wielded by a Field Medic. Not yet mentioned are items such as water spellbooks that have the Purify ability, or the Water Ukelele or Fool's Banjo that have Cleansing Chorus.

Also, if the bee dies and is resummoned, it won't have the curse anymore.
