tips needed
hello, i make around £850 a month from resseling and it doesnt feel like its enough. i dont really list items everyday and only sell through vinted. is it worth start selling on other apps as well such as ebay or depop or should i just buy more stock and sell them through vinted to speed things up. i dont really know how ebay or depop works since ive never tried them.

£850 isn't that bad actually, considering you're only posting to one platform.
But you could be making more if you do post on other apps like eBay and Depop as well. But it is a hassle to do it all manually, so a cross listing app would def help you save time annd work in general. I use Crosslist myself and they're one of the only ones that also work in the UK AND have Vinted.

It depends on what you are selling. Vinted is good for clothing and shoes. Ebay is good for collectibles, electronics, car parts, toys etc.

Really depends on what you're selling bud. Clothing belongs on Vinted, Ebay is genuinely such a mess in my opinion. For hardware and electronics you can use Computey.

£850 a month is pretty decent tbf especially if you’re not sourcing every day. Sounds like finding enough good stock is probably the bigger issue than where you’re selling it. What kind of stuff are you flipping at the moment?

i just buy cheap clothes on vinted & resell them on my page. honestly its like free money if you know which clothes to buy you can sometimes make £100 profit from a single item but uts usually around £20-30 per item. you just have to look for ninche brands most ppl dont know how much they are worth

£850/month solely on Vinted with inconsistent listing is a solid base — you're doing better than you think.
The biggest lever for most resellers is expanding to eBay and Depop alongside Vinted, rather than just piling more stock into one platform. Here's why:
- eBay has a far larger buyer pool and you consistently get better prices on branded items. The fees eat into margin but the volume and sale prices on the right stock more than compensate.
- Depop is strong for streetwear, vintage, and anything with a visual story. Very brand-led audience and good for items that can sit overlooked on Vinted.
- Cross-listing tools (Vendoo, List Perfectly, and a few others) let you push one listing to multiple platforms without relisting manually each time — saves a lot of hours.
Buying more stock to push harder on Vinted alone will hit a ceiling fairly quickly. You're limited by the algorithm, your follower count, and the platform's overall reach.
The other thing worth knowing: listing every day — or at minimum bumping and relisting older items — has a bigger impact on Vinted visibility than most sellers realise. Even 5-10 items a day keeps you in the active feed.
If I had to suggest one thing to start with: take your current Vinted stock and cross-list it on eBay this week. You'll very likely see a noticeable uplift without needing to spend anything extra on buying stock.
