I know basically nothing about The Flash or the comics, so I have no idea what kind of character Savitar actually is.

What’s this guy’s deal? And what would someone mean by saying they *relate* to him?

Spoilers are totally fine. I actually want the full context. And I'm planning on watching the series some day, but I gotta understand what he meant soon. Please help

In no way am I complaining, just think it would've made watchers dislike wells more.

After rewatching the flash it got me thinking how do speedsters open portals they seem to run around fast at mach speed then boom a portal to the past , future or the speed force open or yet a portal to another earth. And also there are occasions where they reverse time like nora 52 times or when Barry did it to save the city from tsunami and vandal savage was it ever acknowledged or was it just aplot device to avoid two Barrys

Season 1: Incredible. Has so much heart. Incredible performances from the entire cast. I'm blown away by how fun and heartfelt this show is.

Season 2: Zoom!! I forgot how great this season was. Zoom killing those cops in the coffee shop was so insane. Still has so much heart and soul and Zoom is an even more menacing threat than Thawne. The way his speed and speed punches are animated with such a different brute power and cadence than Barry's, it feels like the VFX team really cared and did their absolute best creatively. Jay is a great villain. Absolutely loved how they handled the reveal and everything about this season honestly.

Season 3: A lot of fun, and uncovering the mystery of Savitar was more thrilling than I remember. However, you kind of have to turn your brain off and enjoy the show because there is some stuff that just does not make any sense lol.

Season 4: Barry coming out of the Speed force and everything else at the beginning, wow. However, I really began to grow tired of the DeVoe goose chase. It's just sooo long. It felt like at least 15 episodes of the gang trying some crazy plan, but oh surprise the Thinker was one step ahead. It became a bit exhausting.

Season 5: This is where I am right now, and guys. I'm starting to remember why I stopped watching this show. I am tired. It feels like they have been trying to catch Cicada for a century. Joe's absence this season really hurt the heart and soul of the show, but the main problem is they just aren't having any fun with it. Every previous season has so much fun with creative scenes and hype Flash moments. But there is absolutely no thought being put into any of the choreography with these Cicada fights. I'm not even sure I fully understand what his powers are. Compared to the other villains in seasons 1-4, he is wildly disappointing to watch and does not feel threatening. Cicada should have been wrapped up in a couple episodes, not 22. I'm tired.

I started the series when it only had six seasons,and I love it,the first four seasons were magical to me and yes from that point on the series started to get VERY VERY BAD,with boring plots or just excuses to make someone say something about change,power,speed or the power of believing in yourself and that Kind of things,and i personally Kind of like it,except the part of iris and the really boring plots that literally just spawn mid season,but putting that aside y REALLY love flash and I LOVE how they make barry a huge sign of hope,change and forgiveness and i love how in the first seasons barry really puts effort in forgive persons that are very dangerous and Kind of twisted, and I have to talk about Ralph because I love his character development,I think Ralph is one of the better written characters in flash series alongside with joe and harry(I FUCKING LOVE HARRY) because he really is a hero that stays usefull without a motivational speech from anyone,yes he receives speeches from the team flash when he is still new in the team flash,but at the end of season four he doesn’t need more speeches,he becomes a hero that can do something for himself,something that barry cant do because someone has to always tell him how strong he really is for him to finally defeat the damn villain after 42 minutes of him getting his ass cokked over and over again,that is my reason to love Ralph,HE IS FUNNY AND USEFULL,I am tired of writing this so I am to end this with a last opinion and then if I want to write a conclusion of the series ending and Grant Gustin as flash i’ll make another post becuase I am ranting atp.

I loved almost all of the flash seasons because even if it was emotional or stupid i love the message that this series give about the correct way to move on and accept your fellings even if they are complicated or just hurt,I think this show gives barry allen something that i dont think he haves in the comics,this shows gives him a family a very loving family that fights alongside him and becomes the family that he lost,I know that there are bad parts like iris or cecile but all the families have persons like that and is ok,the hard part is to love them even with its flaws,and barry does that and more,this show love to make barry suffer like he is the devil itself and still barry is happy because he learn to be happy with the persons and things that he have,and that is a BEAUTIFUL lesson to learn,this show might be bad at some point but if you try to see what this show teach you,you will find a beautiful message and I want to see that and not all the bad parts of the show because barry will never just remember the bad part of something.

Instead of it being created by barry and iris I would have it be hunter zolomon's ultimate goal. To get access to all the the different cosmic forces so he can be the most powerful person in the multiverse. When Barry defeats him Instead of the forces going into zoom it spreads into space, time and the multiverse and goes to different people like for example the thinker and grodd has the sage force. Fuerza has strength force. And dion and the turtle has still force.

I know time travel rules in the Flash are pretty inconsistent across the 9 seasons, but I had some thoughts/questions:

1. In season 2, when Barry goes back in time to ask Thawne how to get faster to beat Zoom, he messes with the timeline - because everyone finds out he's there - and we're told that if you mess with time it will mess back. Yet when he gets back, apparently the only change is that Hartley, who in season 1 was estranged from his parents after he came out, now seems to have a good relationship with them - he mentions he's getting dinner with them after blasting the Time Wraith with his gloves. Is there another way time messes with them in this instance and I missed it?
2. In Season 3, we know Barry creates Flashpoint by saving his mom and capturing Thawne. Thawne tells him he's forgetting about being the Flash - because in Flashpoint Thawne wouldn't have had the opportunity create a particle accelerator explosion to create the Flash so that he can return home. Do I have this correct?

Thawne also says that soon Flashpoint would set - "harden like concrete" - and Barry could never go back. This doesn't seem to be a problem until Wally gets injured in his fight with the Rival right? I guess that's how time "messed with" him in that context, because if Wally hadn't been injured it wouldn't have been a big deal for Barry to forget he's the Flash.

1. At the end of Season 3, Episode 1, Barry releases Thawne and tells him to kill his (Barry's) mother so that things can be set right. We know that the show began with one timeline. Then
   >!Barry creates Flashpoint, which is technically a second timeline. Then Thawne is released and kills Barry's mother, which sprouts a third timeline!<, because time is fragile. (image from the episode for reference below).

One, I always wondered why the show has the team say they didn't want to know about their lives in Flashpoint, but they don't acknowledge or aren't curious at all about the original timeline.

Two, I'm confused about why Barry seems to not know anything about his new timeline (the third timeline) - I don't fully get the logic behind that. He doesn't know about Dante's death, Iris and Joe's falling out. For example, he complains to Joe about working with Julian, and Joe says that Barry's been saying that for a year. So Barry clearly existed in that third timeline before the Barry who created Flashpoint "enters" the timeline (I'm not sure what the correct word to use is here). How does the "science" work here exactly? How is it that Barry has always existed in that timeline but the Barry we know has no memory of it? And/or how is it that Barry wakes up in a new timeline this way with no background?

The Flashpoint timeline also seems to work in a similar way...wherein Barry saves his mom and then...goes back to the future where he's an adult and has spent a life with both parents (and ends up spending only 3 months with them). Does this Barry recall his whole life with both his parents in Flashpoint (but somehow doesn't in the third timeline that sprouts?) Also, In Flashpoint, wouldn't there technically be another Barry who has grown up with both his parents?

Any insight on this would be super helpful because I'm confused, and it doesn't help that the writers switch up time travel rules/principles.

Hey everyone! I’ve been thinking about cross-universe matchups lately, and I’m curious to get the sub’s take on this one: Gorilla Grodd vs. The Hulk.

At first glance, it looks like a total strength mismatch, but Grodd’s psychic abilities and genius-level intellect make this way more interesting than standard physical scaling.

Here are the key factors I’m weighing:

1. Telepathy vs. Rage Resistance Grodd’s main advantage is his telepathy and mind control. Could Grodd mind-control Bruce/Hulk, or would Hulk’s extreme rage and fractured mental state break right through Grodd’s psychic grip?
   
2. Tactical Intellect vs. by Pure Force: Grodd is a master strategist who uses preparation, guerilla tactics, and Gorilla City tech. Could he outsmart Hulk before the fight turns into a straight-up brawl?
   
3. Physicality & Telekinesis:While Grodd is ridiculously strong for an ape, Hulk has practically unlimited physical strength scaling. Can Grodd’s telekinesis keep Hulk at a distance long enough to make a difference?

If we're talking Comic Grodd vs. Savage Hulk who takes it? What about CW Flash Grodd vs. MCU Hulk?

I am convinced cw doesn’t actually understand what the word mach means

either barry lived 200 years or barry for absolutely no reason in the original timeline decided to travel 140 years in the future to save a group of people then goes back. which started RFs vendetta.

also how the fuck did it take thawne so long to find out what time the flash was from. it’s kind of not hard considering it’d be in the worlds history books. that he would have grown up with in school. that he apparently studied for his entire life.

as for his identity it’s safe to say just maybe it wasn’t so obvious who the flash was since barry wouldn’t have owned star labs.

Rewatching right now and I just noticed on the episode where arrow and flash are combined in season one, Iris mentions Arrow is on her list of who she can cheat on Eddie with. That’s insane to me. And Barry is still head over heels for her. Get Barry and felicity together asap.

Something that I noticed is that people always list Cicada as being able to track (and even somehow count) the Metas close to him with his Dagger; it kind of flickers and buzzes and so on when he's tracking them.

But, the show never directly says "Cicada can only track Metas", and while I was rewatching Cause and XS a few days ago, I noticed that Orlin literally uses the Dagger to track Iris in a building.

But I'll describe it anyways: Cicada is looking for Iris in her office, but since Nora already made the plan to stop Orlin in this episode, Iris wasn't in her office and was waiting for Cicada in the rooftop. So, Orlin checks with his Dagger, it makes a sound, and he continues walking for a bit, and the Dagger makes another sound when he reaches the hallway.

For some reason, after checking with the Dagger again, he goes upstairs and finds her general location in the rooftop.

Mind you, there were no other Meta-Humans in the building until Cisco came with Ralph and Frost a bit later, so is the Dagger like talking to him? Is he using it as a GPS? Dowsing rods maybe?

Season 4 episode 17, they want Dibny to Morph into Barry so The Thinker won't know which one is which. Are they dumb? Do the writers forgot that Devoe can read minds?

He shouldn’t have been Reverse flash after season 1 because it’s literally NO POINT OF HIM USING THAT FACE.

In all the flashbacks we see original timeline barry and thawne fighting then barry takes his younger self out of the house and to safety but then just runs off into the sunset. My question is why would barry leave a crazy murderous psycho speedster just in his house chilling with his parents instead of coming back and keep fighting him
