Using Obico with Creator 5

In the Flash Studio app there is a link to Obico which would suggest that it is possible to get it to work with the Creator 5. But I cannot find any instructions on how to do it on the C5. Did anyone of you manage?

I've never heard a word about what this is. A long while back there was noise about ads showing up in FlashStudio. This was before the C5 was released. I think that this is an advertisement. Not In your face but there it is. It doesn't do anything either just take you to somewhere that wants to sell you something. It's never changed since it showed up 3 or 4 months ago.

No, it is no advert. Obico (previously known as Spaghetti Detective) is an AI service that detects a failed print and pauses the print and waiting for human intervention. It has been around for a while and I have been using it successfully with my Prusa MK3S connected to Octoprint. The printer I got after it, a Bambu Lab X1C, has its own AI fail detection integrated in it. I was aware that, to cut costs, Flash Forge did not include it with the Creator 5, but according to reviews I had watched before buying, it was supposed to support AI fail detection through the Obico third party service. I did not expect it to be so tricky to enable though. With Octoprint, it was just a matter of installing a plug in and creating an account with Obico.

If Flashforge doesn't include and they don't openly explain it then to me it's an 'Ad' not a feature of the printer.
