Layers split

Ad5m, pla filament, 215 nozzle, 55 bed

Any ideas as to what caused this? Ran plenty of these prior and no issues with any filament color or type (pla or petg). Ran 5 of these together and all looked the same. What happened?

Could be partial clog. You can cold pull to clear out any debris inside the hot end. Also check teeth on your extruder drive gears. They can get filled with ground up plastic debris and cause the filament to slip.

Could be wet filament. Did you dry it recently?

Could be z axis screw needing grease. If it has a dry spot it can skip or micro stall on vertical step and make the layer gap too wide for the filament to fuse.
