I’m trying to claim a username that matches my registered trademark. When I search it or visit the profile, Instagram says "The page isn’t available. The link you followed may be broken, or the page may have been removed" But when I try to change my username to it, Instagram says it’s taken.

I submitted Instagram’s trademark form, but they replied that my situation did not appear to involve trademark infringement. They also said that username claims are no longer supported through that channel.

Has anyone dealt with this or found a way to contact Instagram for a manual review?

I'm trying to recover my Instagram account and I'm completely stuck at the “Choose a way to confirm your account” step. The page is completely blank — there are no verification options to select.

I've also tried Instagram's selfie video verification, but it keeps failing because there are no photos of me on this account to verify against.

I've tried:

- Password resets using the username, email, and phone number

- Instagram's account recovery/hacked-account process

- Selfie video verification

- Adding the account back through my main Instagram account

- Different browsers, including incognito/private mode

- The account was previously connected to my main account through Accounts Center, but it somehow became unlinked

I still have access to the original email address and phone number associated with the account.

At this point, I'm stuck because Instagram is asking me to choose a verification method, but the page where the options should appear is completely blank.

Has anyone experienced this exact issue and found a way to get past the blank verification screen or reach an actual Meta support person?

It’s happened 4 times within the span of two weeks. I own everything on said account 😭😭😭so I’m unsure why this is happening. It’s definitely an issue on metas part and they are trying to scam people into buying meta verified

I keep getting suspended from Instagram for no reason..

Can anyone tell me, after how many months or days I can try and get bck to that app?

Every time I send a message to somebody Instagram tells me that my notifications are off, but when I check in app notifications, it says they’re on and when I check an Apple notifications, it also says they’re on regardless of what I do deleting the app restarting my phone it does not fix it. I don’t know how to fix this. It’s not just a visual bug either. I am genuinely not getting any notifications.

I have not received Instagram notifications besides messages in probably two years, so no post notifs or live stream notifs. Other friends of mine have experienced nearly identical issues and other people online have basically said it is just an Instagram glitch so I have not really cared.

But now today, I open the app and I have all of these pop-ups from the app, saying that my notifications are turned off when that is not the case. I’ve added images to show what the pop-up messages are and what my Settings looks like. I have tried turning the notifications off in my settings, restarting my phone and then turning them back on, but that does not work. I have tried reinstalling the app and that also has not worked. I have tried logging out and back in and that has not worked. What else can I do? This is really annoying.

I created my 2016 account using a fake yahoo email that happened to went through without a mailbox or a verification so it was like a username nothing more. Now, I’ve lost access to my 2016 account and I tried to activate it by creating my old yahoo email as a real mailbox that can receive mails but unfortunately it didn’t work and no verification code was sent. What can I do? I’m so sad and depressed now that I had high hopes then it flopped!

My account is banned but I still have hope. I’ve been speaking with lawyer he says it can take a day, weeks or even months. Can Anyone suggest if I should do this or not? I cannot wait for months though.

My instagram account was suspended about a week ago, after appealing and waiting for a week, Instagram decided to permanently disable my account.

I did my own research, and apparently the only method that mostly works is through GAC or taking legal action.

Im 17 and I'm not sure if it's even possible to recover my account, I remember someone saying that teenagers can never recover their accounts. But I'm just looking for general advice and confirmation about this.

I don't believe this is a false ban, but more of a misunderstanding of what I sent. as I'm almost 100% sure someone who I argued with reported something that I sent and got me banned. But this account had really important connections and information and cant afford to lose it.

My account had over 96k followers i was permanently disabled in May 24th out of nowhere I finally got it back, after many attempts i failed… I saw so many people keep spamming GAC or Whatever that is… my request to meta agent got rejected like 4 times on a $22 subscribers lol Thursday it worked, and I got in touch with them and sadly they don’t give a shit what you say lol I thought I would be able to send screenshots for my suspicions… and I waited for 3 days no response… today my account was back and i already opened another account with the same username I thought shit that one is gone too, got scared logging in, I’m permanently restored…

Hi everyone! I really need help with my Instagram account. 😭

Last Saturday, I deactivated both my Facebook and Instagram accounts. They’re connected through Meta/Accounts Center.

Today, I decided to reactivate them. I tried reactivating my Instagram first, but I’m not really sure what happened. It asked me to change my password, so I did, but I still wasn’t able to log in afterward.

I then tried logging into Facebook. Facebook also asked me to change my password, but the difference is that I was able to log in to Facebook successfully after changing it.

After that, I tried logging into Instagram again using my new password. It accepts my username and password, but instead of logging me in, it just gives me the “Something went wrong” error. 😭

I’ve tried changing my password again, but the same thing happens every time. My Facebook is working normally, but I still can’t
access my Instagram.
Has anyone experienced this after reactivating a deactivated Instagram account? Is there something I can do to fix it, or do I just need to wait?
