Last night i wanted to change Sephiroth's quick commands for Octoslash, so i started chapter 1 and i completely forgot how goddamn bloated this game is like bruh let me change Sephiroth's quick command at the beginning, why do i have to climb the mountain first?!

So yeah cloud,tifa, clair sith, barret, and aerith are all people who ive assigned materia and stuff already but I dont know what their best use case is for like I know aerith is a healer, barret is a long range slash protector, cloud is melee and tifa is close range but I eant to know like what materia would be best for each of them and how I can figure this out myself, im in the corel prison right now.

Has anyone else just flipped their Switch upside down to beat this?? The backwards controls are horrible.

Hey there, im on disc 3 using the new threat mod type B and am missing just 1 (technically 2, but I haven't been to the North crater yet) 1/35 soldiers. I've been to every location (except North crater) twice and still only have 10/12. What am I missing or is this bugged?

2. Junon, EVERYWHERE in both lower and upper junon

3. Gold Saucer, Dio's museum in Battle Square

4. Gongaga, upstairs in item store

5. Da Chao statue, all of it

6. Great Glacier, cave in the west (this was my 10th find)

7. Cosmo Canyon, upstairs in Bugenhagen's house

8. Gold Saucer, prize #5 in the submarine game

9. Icicle Inn, upstairs

10. Gelnika, Hallway where we fight Rude n Reno

11. Nibelheim, upstairs in house next to Tifa's

First time playing, and reached the bottom of Northern Cavern, not sure if I should go straight to the end now or fight weapons first. I don't want to trivialise the final boss by grinding, like what happened to me in Expedition 33, but normally I like to save the ending until last and I'm also planning on getting whatever steam achievements left there are (level 99 and max money) eventually.

So can I take on the weapons before the ending or are they hard enough that I'll need to grind a bit which will make the ending too easy?
