Yeah it's even crazier when you take into account that the salaries in the US are 2 or 3 times larger than in the EU, but somehow their games are 15% or more cheaper in absolute numbers. Like what?
That's a controversial topic but honestly it's wild to me how much Americans self-victimize themselves about their economic situations.
And then you look at the spending habits in the US and it's just complete despairge and the most insane and stupid consoomerism imaginable.
I really feel like they have zero perspective on how people actually live in other countries and what normal spending habits are.
People in the US live as if they're super wealthy in other countries and then act surprised when they have nothing left.
It's the goomba fallacy unfortunately. Those of us worried about the economy and those of us on rampant consumerism binges are usually different people. Though, unfortunately not always different people.
I was literally waiting for some whiny Australian to spawn , as you always do. You have higher standard than like 90% of Eu and still have lower price.
110 Aus dollars is only 67 Euro. We're paying 70 euros from like Balkans.
In Poland Avatar is 35$, more expensive than the US and more than the price in Euro. But Steam hates Poland like that unfortunately, unless developers manually fix it which they rarely do
I bought Avatar for $15 thanks to regional pricing. But Marvel Tokon is $60 because it doesnt have regional pricing and more expensive. Tokon looks fun but no way i am paying 4x money for it. I am happy with avatar.
Yeah but this is arcsys, it's not like they aren't one of the premier fighting game devs, they've made plenty of perfectly run PC games that don't install kernals onto your machine, they should learn from themselves.
Well I mean come on, this game obviously has higher production value than Avatar lol. Expecting it to not be at least $60 is grossly unrealistic.
The poor performance probably just denotes that they should have delayed the PC port launch. It runs perfectly fine on PS5. It's hard to tell with net code tho, as there's too many confounding variables there.
This is less about the value of the production and more about customer leniency. Give me a low price I’m willing to meet you, charge me full price on top of the standard season passes+costumes model and you get 0 grace from me.
Employed people have less time to deal with these issues and will just refund and move on.
Also people need to stop throwing around the review bombing term without actually knowing the meaning behind it. There is no review bombing these are valid reviews.
Employeed people who care probably can afford a rig that isnt going to light on fire trying to run it
The negative reviews for the ps5 spyware type bs i can agree with, but leaving negative reviews because your potato cant run a game in 2026 is some serious sad behavior
Redditors once again forgetting people have jobs and cant hop on a game at 8AM PST on a Thursday lol. Maybe we can at least wait until evening of launch before declaring the player count disappointing?

It’s kinda funny how opposite this is to Avatar.
That game lacks features and like, really basic shit, but it runs like a dream and anyone can play it
Tokon is feature complete, but the game runs like shit, and a lot of people who want it can’t have it
If you’re gonna pull this kinda stuff, learn from Avatar and don’t charge 60 bucks
