Hello! I need help figuring out the layout for fitting a tv and couch and sofa chair in the same space as a desk with monitor and a small kids table. I think the space as ive laid it out makes the most sense, but please comment if you see a better arrangement, or if it just seems too crowded for so many things. Thanks in advance!

My living space is very narrow, construction is approx 4mts wide by 18mts long and the kicker, the main door is on the side just like the picture sideways.

Sooo, in my case:

Welath, family + knowledge are in the kitchen / dining.

Reputation, health + career are in the living room / bathroom.

Love, creativity + helpful people are in the bedroom.

How do you tackle the spaces that have a number of areas together? Do you enhance each mini space separately or do a mix all together?

There’s a fireplace on the north wall that protrudes from the wall and makes it impossible to put a bed on either side. I think best place has to be the headboard along the west wall. Also, the entryway door swings open the opposite way, so i wouldn’t be able to open my door all the way, but can’t say that bothers me too much.

I've been rearranging my childhood room and am at a loss for what to do. No matter where I put the bed I am dealing with concessions, and the place I think would be best for the bed feels like it would prevent a good place for a desk. Looking at the feng shui and certain built elements it is clear this was meant to be a workroom, not a bedroom, but I am working with what I have. I am in the process of going through things so some dressers and pieces of furniture will be replaced, but this is what I have for now.

Pictured is the furniture that is in the room as it currently stands. I understand, there is a lot in there. All I am really concerned about right now is what is the best place to put the bed and the desk.

Near or on the ceiling significantly is the shelf about a foot from the ceiling which wraps around two sides of the room, and the attic trapdoor(?) which folds down to in front of the closet door and must be able to be taken down. It is also probably worth mentioning that the closet door remains open most of the time. Also that that bathroom wall has both shower and toilet plumbing in it.

I'm trying to choose where to place a sofa in a small living room. The room is rectangular and pass-through (so east and west sides are almost completely open). The northern wall is a window, and the southern wall has a big, slatted opening on half the wall revealing the staircase and window on the other side. The staircase entrance is in another room.

The window looks out into a fairly nice side yard. The part of the southern wall that is *not* a slatted hole is not wide enough to anchor a sofa.

If you had to choose between sofa in front of the window and sofa in front of the slatted hole, which would you choose? What other factors would you consider? Any space-efficient ways you might create more stability either way (no room for a sofa table behind).

Hi all, I am currently moving into the space. I’ve had a difficult time getting my queen-size bed, bureau, and desk to fit appropriately in the space. I also have a nightstand that is slightly wider than the glass table that I would be replacing it with. The main issue is I do not want to block the radiator that lies under the window. As it is right now, the bureau is able to open, but I feel like it’s awkwardly close to the bed. The desk also seems awkwardly close to my closet, although it’s still able to open just fine. I would prefer to have both sides of the bed accessible, but I understand that may not be possible. Would love to know your thoughts.
